Features : 10
This one is a typical and nowadays rare hofner les paul copy. but copy is a too cruel word, hofner took the time to develop the les paul further.
it got:
- 24 frets 18 1/2 " glued in maple neck.maple fingerboard with dot inlays and an angled brown headstock
- 2 Hofner enclosed passive humbuckers
- Hofner or Schaller tuners
- one volume and one tone control
- one tone-selectop circuitry
- maple body natural
- black scratch board
- hofner or schaller bridge
- Made in Germany ( this is a real quality instrument)
- manufactured from 1976 till 1979

Sound : 10
This guitar is AWESOME!!!! I personally prefer a les paul like fat sustain, this lightweight got it.you like tele twang? it got it.you like the sound of p90 soapbars, hehe what should I say?
the one tone-selectop circuitry gives you the total control over the sound without always running to your amp and reconfigure the settings. you can change it with your right hand while you're playing.this is the best invention I've ever seen. it's a shame that nobody uses this technique nowadays.
So sound is from single coil jazzy flat till humbucking punching fat

the pu's (look like hofner 510b humbuckers from 1961) are equal to gibson, emg and seymour duncan and in some settings they really beat them.

in some settings the middles are a little low but in compare with a P-490 they sound equal.

the sound without amp remembers me to a real les paul

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
I bought this guitar second hand and it had the typical gibson illness, so the scale was split. but it was fixed professionally and so it doesn't matter. Everything else was in a really great condition, everything seemed to be like new. so I think this guitar wasn't played very often, ts ts ts.
So a 8 for the ass who broke it's neck

Reliability/Durability : 10
I'm playing this guitar now for a few days and I really like it.
the tone control was defect but it's not for a rookie to fix, the controls are soldered on a 2 floor board, really tricky. but that produces this marvellous sound.
although it's so lightweight maple and the neck's glued in it's static
due to maltreating it. just a fine pulling sound.
this guitar is like a cockroach it endures everything

Overall Rating : 10
what should I say? It's rare, it sounds good, you don't get tired of wearing it.
It's a real alternative for musicians who uses different sounds to play without changing guitar and play on the knobs.
for me a totally A++
