The Western 12s were made in the 70s. They featured laminated spruce top and laminated flame maple sides and backs. Ther eare electrified versions as well. The necks are removable.

I am a strummer and I find the action to be very good. Mine was professionally set up and refretted. It has wonderful sustain but lacks bottom end. It projects well.

The finish work is excellent. You can still find some near mint examples around today.

A good quality 12 for a limited budget. It's not a Taylor or a Martin but plays nearly as easy.
