21 frets, solid spruce top, back and sides are maple. Also the neck.
Not a jumbo, a bit smaller body in depth and width.
Open tuners. Double binding around the corpus. Adjustable truss rod, 2 strap buttons. Dot inlays. No electronics. Light weight.

Great for fingerpicking and strumming. Basses are really good, not muddy. The best word for the sound is: elegant. The whole sound-spectrum is warm and good.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The action is low, so playing is fun. This guitar is approx. 25 years old and still in mint condition. Absolutely no flaws. German made - perfect.

Can't see anything what could be damaged.
I would depend on it anytime.

Playing for 14 years now. Other guitars: Rickenbacker 330 copy (don't buy a Ric-copy!), Yamaha Pacifica 112m (Strat-copy, a good one), Yamaha Acoustic FG-433s (great guitar, but cold, sterile, hifi-like sound, muddy basses), Hofner Concert Guitar HZ-27 (good), Rickenbacker Solid State Amp (good for home practice), Zoom 505 Multi-effect (not again)
Compared to the new Yamaha FG, the Hofner is, well, a bit ugly in my opinion. (No neck binding, no die-cast tuners, white plastic tuner-knobs, 70's-look) But: The sound is better. And it's easier to handle, as it is a light and small guitar. All in all I prefer the Hofner.
