1959 hoifner president thinline...guitar used to belong to adam ant....made in germany...includes zero fret...spruce top...laminated back steam pressed...highly figured tiger stripped maple sides and back...neck 5 piece highly figured...beautiful flower inlay on headstock in mother of pearl...hofner slidesw ith controls 3 swith 2 pots...pickups black single coils with height adjustment...passive electrics...finish is cherry...single cutaway...and thinner than the president...2 inch thick...standard bridge with a bigsby vibrola...hofner standard tuners ...inlay in moter of pearl with adam and enlayed...ive owned this guitar fot 2 years...im a gretsch man with quite a collection...but this is a great guitar...plenty of volume...nice and twangy...very versitile...blues jazz rock does it all...very light in weight...no feedback problems that you get with some archtops..and great value...if you want a vintage guitar for great value...then buy one
