The finish is black high gloss. The body is a combo style of
Les Paul, Strat, and Telecaster solid body single cut away. The Neck is a medium Fender U shape. The bridge is a badass. Really solid. The Hofner S3N was made in 1979. 24 1/2 frets. Three single coil pick ups. two at the neck, one at the bridge. One knob for volume. One for tone. Each pick up has its own switch. One switch is a coil tap. The guitar can sound like a Telecaster, or an SG. Ash body and mahogany neck

I play beatles, Stones,Punk, and blues. This guitar has a veriety of sounds. I have used it with a Vox valvetronics amp and a 72 Ampeg j12. The coli taps can offer a bright sound or a rich full sound.

The Hofner S3N has low actions and med frets. The pick up are perfect set even after 25 years. The guitar is flawless

I have been playing 3 years. I also use a 72 SG Jr., a 77 Rickenbacker 360. it is a rare guitar so it would be heard to replace.

Black gloss finish, Les Paul/Stratocaster body. Baddass bridge, Schallers tuners. thin Neck med frets. 24 frets. Solidy Body.
Sound

The guitar has a single coil pickup at the bridge. And a Humbucker pickup at the neck. There is control knob for volume, And one for tone. Three switches control the pickups with the middle switch being a coil tap. I can get a lot of different sounds from it. Hum Bucker, single coil. Two single coil. Etc.
This guitar can either sound like a Gibson SG or a Fender Telecaster. It can play Punk, Blues,Chuck Berry, Beatles, R &B, Motown, country, Funk and Jazz.

I bought this used. The guitar is shaped like a les Paul, and contoured like a Fender StratocasterThe action is low. frets are smooth. Neck is like a Fender 54 Telecast flat neck. Medium frets. Good spacing between strings. It has a Badass bridge. An Ash Body and Mahogany neck. High Gloss Black finish. Made in Germany.
This guitar is well built. Cool shape, hot pickups, Great bridge and tuners, beautiful black finish. Well made guitar. Great for the price.
In fact it boasts the reputation of being Hofners best kept secret

The Hofner S3N is 27 years old and is in mint condition. It has been played. The are scuff marks on the pick guard. But all the hardware, is mint. Works great. the finish is hi quaity german craftsmanship.
