Features : 5
This is their children's guitar, 1/2 size.
The box is rad, showing a lil' cowboy labling it as a "play and learn folk guitar". However, it's set up for nylon strings.
Laminated wood.

Sound : 5
Sounds ok, nothing special. It is a kid's guitar, after all.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
Action was low and easy, complete with nylon strings. As a beginer, I found forming chords on it simple.

Reliability/Durability : 6
I've had it over a year, and it's got scratches to prove it. But the mechanics (tuners, neck, bridge, etc.) have held up well.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never dealt with.

Overall Rating : 6
I'm an adult who's been trying to learn guitar for a couple of years.

I had been given a nasty, old, no-name accoustic. The action was terrible, as was the sound. I had it for 2 years and made no progress.

I ended up buying this guitar and suddenly I was learning chords and scales. Relative tuning made sense.

I thought I might be shooting myself in the foot, learning on a half-scale guitar. But after learning a lot of open chords, I ended up buying a cheap electric and found that my hands adjusted to the larger scale.

This guitar launched my guitar hobby for $30. It doesn't sound fabulous, but it sounds good enough to learn basic elements.

I now have a full-sized accoustic, but I still play the little guy a lot.
