Classical guitar, made in Japan, 1980. Everything is solid. Top is sprice, sides/back Brazilian rosewood, matched pair. High grade ebony fingerboard. No electronics, I wanted to install some, but then changed my mind. The guitar is so good, I do not want to drill it.

Sound is unbelievable. Loud, clean, excellent sustain. With Hannabach strings, nearly concert-quality classical sound.

Cannot tell anything about factory setup. Mine was setup by a luthier, has bone nut and saddle, very comfortable action. Fretware and tuners are flawless.

With proper care, will last for years. At least, mine did :)

Concert-sized classical nylon string guitar, apparently higher end. 19 frets, 2 1/16" wide at nut. No electronics. Made in Japan circa 1980. Solid top (spruce or cedar ?), solid brasilian rosewood sides and back, ebony fretboard. Nato neck, enforced with rosewood in the middle. Rosewood bridge, bone nut and saddle. Engraved headstock, beautiful wooden binding. High-class gold-plated tuners. Very beautiful insturment, just a marvel. I give this guitar rating of 10 because it is build from top-quality materials with top-quality craftsmanship. Ultimately, these are the only features I am looking for in a classical guitar!

Sound is amazing. Tone, volume, resonance - everything is perfect. Rich bass, distinct high strings, - wow! Asked couple of my friends to play this instrument and give their opinion. Highly positive comments! And trust me, these people know what they are talking about!

Neck is straight, fretwork is flawless. I made the action the way I like it, ~ 3.5 mm at the 12th fret. No buzzing at all, I guess the action could be lowered further, if desired. Probably too much varnish on the top, but this is how the guitars were made those days. We can only guess how this beautiful instrument might sing should we open up the sound!

This guitar was build to last. No cracks, warps, separations, etc. - structurally is extremely robust. What I will probably do is replace the tuners. They still hold the tune, but the buttons have a few cracks, may eventually separate from the metal. Could be treated with the super glue, but I prefer the new ones.

Due to the age of the guitar, I doubt I will ever have to deal with warranty or customer support issues.

I have been playing for about 25 years. Not a pro, but an amateur with some experience. On the average, I play 3-5 hours a week. I currently own 4 guitars, 3 of which are classical. In the past I owned over a dozen of classical guitars, and had a chance to play a few dozen. This instrument looks, plays and sounds among the best I have ever played or owned in my life. In my mind, compares to higher-end Takamine models build at the same time.
