Made in the Mid - late 70s, in japan as part of Arbor series. Solid Top Spruce, Sides and back are rosewood bound with maple. Dreadnought body shape. Neck is Honduran mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard bound with maple. Rose wood bridge. Nut and saddle are bone. The position markers are triangles of maple with matching ones on the bridge and a nice maple inlay of "HOHNER" on the head stock. Really pretty. Saw a new martin with the same thing a while back.
Has electronics, they sound like crap, but i'm not even sure if they are original no markings are visible on them and i'm not going to rip them out, but the cables inside aren't tied down leading me to think that it was a crappy after market job. one big fat knob on the side of the guitar but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Nothing special on the tuners or anything else, they work and they are original as best i can tell.
I would give it a 6 or 7 for features if i had bought it new or had payed a large amount for it but i'm going to give it a 9 because of what i payed

Sound : 10
Sounds great. Played modern rock, classic rock, country, jazz, folk and christian contemporary and it worked well for all of them, then again it's an acoustic guitar, tend to be versatile.
Very full, warm sound with just a little bit of sweetness. old guitars always seem to get that nice sound. it's a little tinny when playing high on the neck, but maybe you shouldn't try to finger on a non-cutaway acoustic past the 12th fret. The percussive noise is a little strong if you aren't careful about the how you strum, but it's not bad.
The projection is really good. Definately one of the loudest guitars i've played.
I would put it against any acoustic costing $1500 - $2000, sounds better than a friend of mines $2200 guild, and another fellow in towns $3000 martin.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
can't say about factory set up, when i got the guitar it was almost 25 years old. when i bought it used need new strings bad and need to be cleaned. has some staining on the top where people's arms have rested and the general wear associated with a 30 year old guitar. frets are done well, and the inlays are done well. All and all the setup seems very good.

Reliability/Durability : 9
this guitar has lasted and probably will last with some standard maintainance. I'm a little worried about it recently, but that's cause i like it a lot now. Hardware is in good shape and is all original as best i can tell. Finish is showing wear, but i find that that seems to help guitars (on the other hand being old seems to help guitars). strap button is only on the end and seems alright, feel out a couple of times but only when i twisted it funny when taking the guitar off, no real worries. I would depend on this guitar very much, Probably would use it without a backup, but i usually need several guitars for different tunings so if something did happen i would be alright.

Customer Support : 10
I e-mailed the company a while ago just to get info on this guitar and got a reply in less than 24 hours. Seemed very pleasant in the e-mail. The guitar was old when I got it and I?m sure that if it had a warranty it was expired. But the guy that wrote me was very quick and courteous.

I've been playing guitar for 3 years, bass for eight years before that and violin since 4th grade. I own several other acoustic guitars including one Ventura roughly the same vintage, and a Takamine G-Series. Also a Telecaster, Dean Hollowbody fretless bass, and A Zon Sonus Custom 5. I play through a Laney acoustic amp i found some years ago, a peavey vintage 30 for electric stuff.
I asked all sorts of questions about this guitar before i bought it but the guy at the store didn't know it was a trade in and he had had it a few days. If it was stolen i would try to find another i really like this guitar.
The tone is what really makes this guitar shine overall it is worth a 10 just for that, it's great. I didn't really compare it to anything else, although i've played everything with strings in that music store. I saw an old solid top acoustic and decided it need to be rescued before some kid who didn't know what he had bought it and ruined it.
