These guitars were manufactured in 2008 & made in China. This particular model is a replica/remake of H.S Anderson Madcat& Hohner's The Prinz & TE Prinz telecaster models. The guitar has 21 frets & uses the 25.5 scale. Fretboard, Body, & Neck are constructed out of hard-maple. The pickups are both Tesla VR-1 Vintage pickups which I believe are passive along with the electronics & 3-way pickup selector. Tuners are made by Wilkinson & the headstock has changed along with the pickguard, but very minor changes in my opinion. The bridge is a Standard ST-bridge. The guitar came with chrome Schaller strap-locks, hardshell case with "The Artist" on the top of the case & purple-felt interior.

This axe is good for country, rock, blues, r&b, along with any other genre of music. I play through a Line 6 Spider Jam solid-state amp along with numerous Boss stompboxes. My amp stays on the clean channel & the Boss effects pick up the slack for any other type of effect. Sound is very bright & warm when needed. I love this guitar!

This can withstand live playing & would be my weapon of choice if I were in a band easily! I would gig with this mainly, but would need my EMG humbucker at some point during the show which is on my other guitar. If I went to war this would be my 1st choice though.

I've been playing 3 years & recently purchased my Line 6 amp as my wife complained about the price I was gettibg ready to pay for a Mesa Boogie. I also own a Fender solid-state amp which I have given to my 3-yr. old son. My pedal consists of Dunlop Crybaby,BOSS Digital Delay*Octave*Flanger*Turbo Distortion*Metal Zone*Compression Sustainer. Line 6 MM4 will be added very soon along with Digitech Whammy. If it were lost or stolen i'd get another for sure. Didn't compare it to any other tele as I already own a Fender Tele & love the twangy-tone. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS MODEL 2 EVERYONE INCLUDING PRINCE HIMSELF!
