The guitar looks to be a solid top. It has 20 frets. This guitar is an acoustic/electric it has Shadow electronics with a volume and tone control. It is the passive type pickup. The guitars constructed with mahogany sides and back. The guitar has a beautiful finish. It's a transparent finish over the natural woodgrain. The body style is a cutaway. The bridge is a through the body type. I don't know what brand the tuners are but, the guitar has no problems whatsoever staying in tune. The neck is thin with a rosewood fingerboard. The neck is excellent for people with small hands and short fingers like myself. The guitar comes with no accessories. This guitar is the left hand model.

This is where the guitar really stands out. I do not have an amplifier so I cannot rate the guitar for the way it sounds electronically amplified. Acoustically, it has a full rich sound and it does not lack in volume.I like to play blues. I was overwhelmed by the tone of this guitar and there is no fret buzz no matter how hard I play. To be truthful, I have no dislikes about this guitar. I bought this guitar brand-new on eBay. I am very pleased from day one. The guitar is absolutely beautiful and plays very well.

I'm telling you, you can't go wrong with this one. The action is excellent and fast! My guitar was shipped from Florida to California. It arrived at my front door and in tune! The construction is top-notch. There are no flaws and are no spots where the builder got a little heavy with the glue. Excellent workmanship! The finish will knock your socks off!

This guitar will stand up very well to live playing. I don't think you'll have problems with hardware and the finish seems like it will last indefinitely. It has one strap button, I am not sure of the integrity. It looks like it is glued on. If I were using a strap, I would probably remove it and put one in that has a screw. I would say you could definitely depend on this guitar and it would even be a good backup. I don't think I would worry about having a backup guitar if I were playing professionally with this one. I am rating this guitar a 9 in this field because, I am not sure of the integrity of the strap button.

I have been playing for 40 years until I was seriously injured six years ago. I used to have a Applause acoustic guitar and a Gibson Les Paul that I played through a Pevey Duce amplifier. I sold these guitars because my injuries made it so that I couldn't play anymore. I decided I wanted to play again so, I bought the Hohner left hand guitar. If the guitar were lost or stolen I would definitely replace it with the same. I love everything about this guitar. It has a beautiful finish and plays beautifully and sounds great! Truthfully there is nothing that I hate about it. I looked at other guitars, Ibanez, Fender and Epiphone. Mainly it was the price that influenced me to buy the Hohner. I wish it came with a case or at least a gig bag. The urge to play again has taken hold of me and I am starting all over again and didn't want to spend a fortune for a guitar. I am very very pleased with my Hohner guitar and I am certain that I will get many years of enjoyment from it.
