Its a Hohner HW-655 (I think), and it has a sitka spruce top and Rosewood sides. It has a really nice Gloss finish that lets the grain through. 20 frets, Maple neck and rosewood board. Nice features, but nothing special.

This is the best sounding guitar under $400 I have ever played. Sounds like it costed like $800 instead of $175 (actually I payed $100 because it was used). A slight amount of buzz, but thats okay, being it is minimal. Using GHS Med. vintage bronze strings, tuned down 1 step, it gets clear bass and good treble. Played it at school for about six months everyday for 45 minutes a day and finally took the plunge (I never have money).

Action is nice and low, good for barring. Hohner really did nice job when it was made with the wood bookmatched above average. Nice finish, and lets sound through.

The thing has been tuned by me 2 times in the past 6 months and I play it everyday for 45 minutes at least. Both were for odd reasons, like it got wet once, and i popped out of tune for some reason. Never had any problem with it. With my band, I never back it up because strings are too thick to bust and I doesn't ever screw up. Love this guitar.

I haven't been playing long, but am pretty good for a year and a half (Can play almost any song you hand to me in a day), and Own a Squire Jagmaster (Pretty nice) and a Fender Hot Rod Amp. Get this guitar, try to find it, becasue i have never seen it before beside my own. If lost it I would be absolutely pissed and would find the guy who did it and beat him with my Jagmaster, but not my baby.
