This is a used guitar, so I don't know how the last ownwer took care of it. The neck is straight (a normal little curve) but the last part of the neck (on the body)is suddenly far of the strings. Why the neck bend like this? I don't know!
Anyway this guitar is easy to play (with light strings). I don't have problem get the great sounds

Around 15 years later, finishes are still in very good shape. No problem except the strap button (down) is not solid. His a nice button(look like the pins on the body)but I have to change it.
For the rest, I think it's a tough one

I'm a junior player... I have alot fun with this guitar. Some players with experience are suprise by the quality of the sound from this brand and for this price. At least is a good guitar for somebody who wants to learn

I have been playing less than a year, but have had several economical acoustic guitars.I didnt need this guitar seeing i"m just a baby, but saw i might pick this guitar up cheap and did. When i got this guitar today i was astounded, buy of a lifetime,it list for $369.00 a worth all of that. For economy guitars nothing touches Hohner or Jay turser.SO check out Barry clark music you may find a treasure.

Bought on Ebay as a factory second in July 2003.Made in China. Solid Sitka spruce top, Ovangkol back and sides. Bindings on top, back and neck. Nice high gloss finish.Nicely styled bridge piece.Sealed die-cast tuners. Neck is thicker and wider than my six-string but not extremely so.The "O" fret markers are inlaid into the rosewood fretboard and bridge and look good. For the price I paid for this guitar I am amazed. The only things that look cheap are the rosette and the bottom strap button (plastic). If you took off the label I would say 5 or 6 hundred dollars

The sound is great, At this price incredible. Rich , Full and Bright. In tune all the way down the neck. Stays in tune very well. This is my first 12-string but I shopped around at the local stores in the 400 to 600 hundred dollar range and it sounds as good or better than any I tried.

The guitar was set up good with nice low action but no buzz or intonation problems. It is a factory second and the flaws I found were as follows: There is a crack in the finish on the top that doesn't affect the sound and is not noticed until you look for it. One tuner was replaced by one that's not exactly the same. This is barely noticeable as well.

The guitar and hardware do seem solid and durable and I think I will have this a long time. The finish seems good apart from the crack already mentioned, if it gets no worse that's fine by me.I may replace that plastic button and odd tuner. Or I may not. I would use it on a gig without a backup.

Overall I will rate this guitar very high. On it's own it is a good looking and great sounding guitar and even at the first quality price (about 220$ I think) it is an amazing value. If it were lost or stolen I would buy another.I compared this guitar to Washburns, Alvarez, Seagull, Simon and Patrick, Yamaha, Cort and Fender. They all make nice twelve strings but I took a chance on the factory second figuring it wasn't too much to lose and ended up with a great guitar for a fantastic price.

Bought from eBay in mint condition. 2001 or 2002, made in china. 20 frets. Lists for $369. The top is solid spuce, the body is solid ovangkol and the neck is mahogany. Great features for the money, not USA made, but very high quality. The finish seems nice enough for my purposes, frankly I wasnt expecting much for 200 bucks, but this guitar far exceeded my expectations. Not a Martin, but close enough.

This is my first 12 string, but after playing my uncle's more expensive Washburn 12 string, the Hohner sounds just as great. I love the sound of a nice 12 string and this guitar delivers a nice tone. Its loud enough but not too harsh, maybe not as sweet as a martin, but very nice tone for rock, pop, blues, whatever...

The guitar was set up nice and low from the seller. The ovangkol wood looks great compared to laminates that are typical of acoustics in this price range. The head has a rosewood top and the bridge is also rosewood. The frets and neck were set up perfectly, the neck is pretty big but most would not have a problem playing it. The "O" series inlays on the fretboard and bridge look nice, not too tacky or cheap looking. Its not handmade, but again, for the price, a great deal.

The guitar seems very solid and durable. Its pretty heavy, seems like it could take some punishment. Despite the price, I'm really careful with this guitar. I would definitely use it on a gig without a backup. Strings stay in tune and the finish really shines.

I've been playing for about nine years, started with a classical nylon string in guitar class. I also play a Hamer Artist Custom, although not as much now that I have this guitar. I would definitely buy it again if it were stolen. The price and quality of this guitar is unmatched, I was not familiar with Hohner guitars before I bought the HW-9012, but they build a very nice guitar. 12 strings are a blast to play and I'm really happy with this guitar. I hope that the Hohner name will become more popular with beginner/intermediate guitarists.
