My Rockwood is an LX100 G, I believe was made in the usa of what year I have no Idea. I brought it 2 years ago of my freind for a mere 60 quid, I needed a back up for the fender I owned. The LX100 consists of two tone controls, a volume control and a 5 way selector. It has 21 frets. Looks alot like a Strat.

The guitar has a great sound to it, I play rock, I like the likes of metallica, Limp bizkit, Ironmaiden blah blah blah, I was suprised at the qaulity of the sound, and needless to say I was Impressed, for 60 quid i got almost as much satisfaction with this as I have with my strat, In all honesty Hohner isnt as well established as Gibson, Ibanez, fender ect, But I say the Rockwood is extremely good value, If you like a loud, and crunchy sound its great if you dont want to spend to much money.

Well I'm not mechanically minded but the controls arn't to well positioned I'm hitting them alot during gigs. People say get them repositioned but I'm incredibly lazy and wont get a shop to do it or do it myself coz I might mess it up, no matter how easy it might be I'll find a way. The frets have good durability providing you look after it, Pick ups still sounding good, the guitar in itself is three years old.

Yeah this guitar will have no problem withstanding live play, providing you allways look after it'll allways do you proud. No I wouldn't use it without a backup. I usually use both guitars for live play both suit different songs better than the other. I have had few times in my excitement at a gig for the strap to unhook, infortunatly the bottom strap hook broke a few weeks ago. I do play rough and move the guitar about alot. The LX100 G has proved to be a withstanding solid guitar, it deffinatley deserves a good 8

Seeing as I have brought it second hand I dont deal with the company at all, but I haven't had a need to as of yet.

I have been playing for four years now, my first guitar was a an encore. Then I went to a Washburn, then Finally got the strat about 3 years ago. If it were stolen or lost I'd be gutted but I dont think I'd invest in a new one, I'd like a Les paul. But the rockwood is still one fun, great value, great sounding guitar.
