1985 Hondo SG copy
Six String electric Guitar
2 Double Humbucker pickups
Three tone knobs, one volume Knob
Three tone selector switch- Rhythm(lead),Between(semi-clean/lead), Treble(Clean)
Manufactured in Japan/Korea? I'm Leaning Towards Japan
The Body and Neck seems to Be an Oak or Mahogany, i have no knowledge of woods.
Clear scratch-proof finish, Some sort of resin type wood sealer.
Gibson SG copy body very good copy excellent craftmanship.
Nickel tuner knobs, Abilony(shellfish) Fret Marks on neck.
Medium Neck not thick, fits my hand pretty well (6" fingertips to palm)
overall length of the guitar from end to end is about 3'1/2" give or take.
Of course you need the essentials to maintenance your guitar and keep it in perfect working order.
I always keep my guitar in a fender backpack guitar case, the basic tools and extra strings. Cables, strap, picks and electric tuner.

I love this guitar and i play most of the EMO,Punk,Metal type music.
It is the perfect guitar for my onstage and practice needs, sounds great on my Fender and Peavey 20-100 watt amps. Works excellent with many brands of stomp boxes, and digital equipment.
The sound quality is nice with the oroginal humbuker pickups, but replaced the first ones with some standard humbuckers, costed about $120 (can be replaced for much cheaper). The originals wherent nearly as bad as most lowend fenders.
The sound of course is excellent in my opinion, the three tone selector switch does wonders on an amp with weak lead/distortion capabilities, and adds an extra punch to your hard hitting chords.
Clean is great, and the rythm(lead) is an extra bonus.
I like all features of this guitar, the onle only thing i dislike a little is the jack, i would prefer it to be on the butt of the guitar instead of near the knob placements.

Everything was above average with the stock guitar, and the only thing i changed on the guitar where the stock humbucker pickups, mainly because of the style of music i prefer to play.
THe bringe was in perfect alingnment, nothing wrong with the factory adjustments.
All of the tuning pegs are excellent, none where loose, or get loose often, all of the nickel and chrome parts are rustless, and the finish seems scratch-proof. All controll knobs have never loosened on me.
Over all The model i currently own is a 1985 SG copy manufactured in either Japan or Korea, it was given to me in prestine condition with no mars, cracks, scratches, or warps in the wood.

I have droppesd this guitar many times in either anger, or by accident and the wood and finish have no scratches or dents, no warped wood, and no splits in the body as of yet.
The hardware such as the pickups, mught have to be changed out depending on your music style, Otherwise the original pickups are great for beginners or the casual player.
I depend on this guitar on all of my gigs and shows, i wouldnt trade it for anything, as it is my first guitar and i've had it for quite some time. I love this guitar the most out of the two Fenders I own and my 3 Epiphones.
The strap buttons are very heavy duty, but do not make the guitar look lilke a beast, they are perfect for the guitar, and anchored very securely.
It is my main guitar, I would only use this guitar, or my gibson custom.
