The guitar may seem cheap but it works very well with effects. I am using it with a CRATE GX-120. You get a very bright sound out of it and that's what I personally want in my guitars. You get a good tone when using it with distortion.

This guitar has low action but trust me... The quality of sound you get on this, you won't care about the action. The only problem i had with this guitar is that the machine head broke (just put in a new one) and that the 5-way pin was very loose.

This thing would never let me down... I took the neck out and then put it back in, painted the finger plate and open the whole damn thing.

Nothing Else to say but this guitar is probably almost the best guitar I've used.
