1977 Ibanez 2350cs/Sunburst Les Paul Custom copy, double bound semi-hollow body (no f-holes), laminate front, back and sides; bolt on neck with large rectangular plastic inlays. (2) Super 70 pickups with gold covers. Original large pots. Gold hardware. Abalone (?) post lawsuit inlay and binding. High cool factor. Very lightweight. Medium neck profile.

Super 70 pickups not potted, obviously. Can talk into pu's and hear yourself in amp. Squeals when amp turned up. However, pickups are very expressive and have a sound of their own. Chimey, crisp, cleans up well. Overdrive not needed. Currently playing through a '69 Bandmaster Reverb, with special John Landgraff mojo and the BIG 2x12 Fender cabinet with a Weber Blue Dog and 90w Celestion. Fine blues rig. As good as any Les Paul, better than most. The combination of hollow chambers and Super 70's make the guitar lively to say the least. Thought about having pu's potted. Think I'll just get a longer cord. Controls work well.

Hell yeah! Flaws aplenty. Top looks great, finish has yellowed nicely, but lots of laminate patches on sides. Lamination separated by back control cover (easy fix). Pickup screws spaced wider than string spacing. Neck inlays crudely routed and fixed with glue and sawdust (?). The fit is great. Neck is straight, truss rod works. Stays in tune. Cleans up well. Looks great. I don't care about the flaws. It plays great, looks great.

Tuners replaced with Grovers. Pickups fantastic. Bridge and stoptail are good quality. Guitar seems to be structurally sound. Thirty-two years old and still kickin'. It is well worn and plays great. Needs a re-fret one day. Who knows what the future will bring.

Playing for 42 years. Had 'em all. Marshall stacks, Firebirds, LPs (a bunch), SGs (a bigger bunch), Teles, Strats, every Fender amp known to man. When I saw this guitar and touched it, I had to have it. Sound quality and playability per dollar is off the chart. Some of the best dawgs are mutts.
