I think this guitar is made in 1975 (found it on an old Ibanez catalog - http://www.break-even.org/ibzscans/1975FB/75acc-2.jpg).
It has 20 frets. No electronics - only pure sound.
Back, sides and neck are made of mahogany. The Top is made of spruce.
The back of the guitar is arched which gives a very boomy sond.
the guitar looks great - the years aged the spruce in a nice color.
It has all I need - so 10 points

mostly I play fingerpicking blues and for that kind of music it??s very good. The guitar makes a rich warm sound. The bass is very deep and the guitar is very loud. I think the guitar is best used for playing blues.

I bought that guitar on a flea market and it was in a very bad condition. The action was much too high. There were lots of dings and dongs around that guitar. The fretboard was noodled down and the mechanics had to be changed. But I paid only 5,- $ on the flea market.

This is my around the house guitar.
I had it with me at severals campfires, at open air festivals, I sprinkled beer on it, cigarett ashes droped into the soundhole. No problem for that guitar. You can??t destroy it!

I play guitar for 15 years and I own 6 other guitars. But this one is one of my favorites. If you have the possibility to buy than go for it

The guitar was made in japan. 20 Frets and all solid body. no electronics; all natural sound. Body is of semi-jumbo acoustic style by Gibson. The back side has a violin-like protrusion that really throws out the sound. Medium thick, straight neck. Came with original hardshell case. The guitar has a very simple but elegant look. Very classy.

I play blues, jazz, and classical. The tonal balance is impeccable. The bass is very deep and responsive, much like the older Martins or Gibson jumbos. The highs are crystal clear. A great guitar for it's tonal quality, especially after the guitar's spruce has been aged to golden brown color.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The action was not too low to make buzzes when strummed hard. It was easy enough so you can fingerpick with ease. Guitar was made in the old days in Japan. That spells quality. All the woods are top notch grade.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I've banged the guitar a few times. Surprisingly, it held up very well and no repair was every needed! The finish was high gloss. They did a great job. The finish was done just right so it didn't dampen the sound at all. The gloss finish on a guitar is very crucial to how the guitar will sound!

Ibanez is very friendly and helpful to it's customers! Sometimes, you just have to wait a bit to get your questions answered.

I own a Takamine AN-10, Martin D-18V, and Ibanez artwood AW900. Those are all great guitars! And this vintage baby is on par with all of them!
