The guitar was made in japan. 20 Frets and all solid body. no electronics; all natural sound. Body is of semi-jumbo acoustic style by Gibson. The back side has a violin-like protrusion that really throws out the sound. Medium thick, straight neck. Came with original hardshell case. The guitar has a very simple but elegant look. Very classy.
Sound

I play blues, jazz, and classical. The tonal balance is impeccable. The bass is very deep and responsive, much like the older Martins or Gibson jumbos. The highs are crystal clear. A great guitar for it's tonal quality, especially after the guitar's spruce has been aged to golden brown color.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The action was not too low to make buzzes when strummed hard. It was easy enough so you can fingerpick with ease. Guitar was made in the old days in Japan. That spells quality. All the woods are top notch grade.

I've banged the guitar a few times. Surprisingly, it held up very well and no repair was every needed! The finish was high gloss. They did a great job. The finish was done just right so it didn't dampen the sound at all. The gloss finish on a guitar is very crucial to how the guitar will sound!

I own a Takamine AN-10, Martin D-18V, and Ibanez artwood AW900. Those are all great guitars! And this vintage baby is on par with all of them!
