Features : No Opinion
don't know about the year, but at least 10 years old (18.07.03 today! ;-), 22 frets, 1 volume poti, 1 tone poti, 5-way switch, 2 single-coils, 1 humbucker, passive, don't know much about wood and stuff - the fretboard's rosewood,
floyd rose, thin neck

Sound : 8
in makes a humming noise if it's on the single-coils, but it's not too bad. The sound is great for metal and heavy stuff!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
everything was fine!

Reliability/Durability : 9
it's really durable, only the plug for the cable didn't work when i bought it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
i bought it from a skate shop! they used it as decoration! i couldn't withstand buying it, although I probably won't get any customer support!! *G*

Overall Rating : No Opinion
Generally it's a very good guitar, especially for hard stuff, I only wish it had a whammy bar. (it originally had, but the guy I bought it from didn't have it any more) Still, as it only cost me 50 euros, which is almost nothing - just great!!!

i don't know much about mine.....but i bought it second hand for $330 and yeh it was a good deal until i realised the massive cracks on the side of the neck connecting to the body! but yeh i love it...its real easy to play, fret board is good coz its thin but i hate how heavy it is...thats a bit anonoying but i'll get used to it

Sound : 9
i'm into punk...rock grungy stiff and yeh it is pretty good for that!
i like doing solos! it kicks ass for solos! sounds great!
yeh i like the sound it is real good for metal if it is played on a good amp! even on my small amp it has a good sound!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
it hadn't been set up and when i did get it set up it was done dodgy but it still is good! it must take a bit to actually scratch this guitar! its pretty mad!

Reliability/Durability : 5
as i said paint work is good and takes a bit to mark.......i think it has great sound and i think i could rely on mine for a gig! i can't see anything going wrond unless the neck just happened to fall off from the cracks. i give it a 5 simply coz of the cracks otherwise it would probably be about 9

Customer Support : No Opinion
i got it second hand so the guys who sold it to me wouldn't give me a warranty or anything....they knew it was faulty whent hey sold it to me as well......teaches em for buying smething from a bad shop in melbourne..don't go to fretted instruments!

Overall Rating : No Opinion
i love it and yes i would get another one.....how ever i think i would get a more advanced model...they seem a bit more kool! i mainlt got it cozi was despperate to have an ibanez and if i didn't get i don't think i would be satisfied....i just love the look of ibanez!

Manufactured late 80s-early 90s. 22 frets, one volume, one tone, s-s-h pickups i think they are C2s, 5 way selector, not sure about body wood, maple neck with rosewood fretboard, thin neck, extra jmbo frets, sharp strat style, metallic finish, floyd rose, staggered tuners

Sound : 10
Sounds great for every style, used with toneworks processor and fender amp, no noise, can get any sound from it, screeching highs and growling lows, sweet midrange

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
i bought it used, but i took it to a guy who set it up real nice, other than the floyd rose, easy to adjust

Reliability/Durability : 8
very reliable, except the neck cracked where the locking nut screws go through, doesnt effect the sound any, installed a locking strap system, wouldnt need a backup

Customer Support : No Opinion
they dont make tham any more

Overall Rating : 8
just bought it, durable, sounds great, never goes out of tune, locking system is great

This a superstrat style guitar with 22 frets, a floating bridge, S/S/H pickups with triangular in lays in the neck. It looks pretty bloody good. It has a 5 way selector with one tone and one volume knob. I bout it used and it has had a few mods since then to make it better. It had a different floating bridge installed which always went out of tune and the previous owner had stuffed the wiring so I had that cleaned up and a locking nut installed and I love it. Still a few tuning problems but.

Sound : 9
I play blues, rock, metal and to me it sounds good all the time. I only have a cheap practice amp so Im not doing it justice but I played it through a Marshall all tube 65 watt combo and sounded bloody awesome. Could be a bit more bluesy but I never saw Clapton playing a Floyd Rose equipped humbucking guitar before. I havent been playing very long so my judgements could be poor but everyone else who has heard thinks it is good so Ill take their word for it as well.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
Being a second hander it could be better. Few rust spots but for an 89 guitar it is in good nick I guess. The luthier I took it too did an excellent job on the setup but the aftermarket bridge doesnt sit right. Could be better but was probably good brand new. The neck is one of the best Ive played but.

Reliability/Durability : 7
Could be in better condition but everything seems strong enough and Ive had no problems so far.

Overall Rating : 9
Ive only been plaing 9 months but Im thoroughly happy. Because of the mods it is a bit of a hybrid so finding one the same would be hard. It sounds and plays perfect as far as Im concerned but the slight tuning problems are a bit on the annoying side. I love this guitar and would reccomend it to any rock or metalheads but get a locking nut or youll be screwed.
