Well for some reason mine has 22 frets, a strat shape body, floyd rose licenced bridge, locking nut, rosewood fretboard, a thin, fast bolt on neck, humbucker-single coil-humbucker configuration( I think they are passive stock pickups), 1vol and 1tone nob and a 5way selector switch. The paint finish on mine is what I call "virtuoso green". (mostly dark but not totally) I got mine with a hardcase thrown in.

The Main Reason I bought this guitar was because my other guitar(an Esp/Ltd Ax400) is expensive and I wanted a guitar I could have fun with and not worry about damaging, plus it has the floating tremeolo:).
The pickups sound great for hard rock-heavy metal but not over the top metal such as lamb of god etc. The bridge humbucker is crunchy and has wailing leads however does tend to be a noisy pickup during all out multi-string legato phrases. It can be a bit nosiy when not playing anything aswell however I am used to EMG Actives which are the quieteset pickups available so maybe its just me. The Neck Humbucker has a sweet tone perfect for melodys or bluesy soloing or shredding, the middle single coil shows its worth on the clean channel providing a nice flowing sound(contrary to other reviews here) but I must state the single has no great purpose for overdrive. I run this guitar through a randall high gain combo and a marshall jcm800 quad(the master volume head not the dual channel) for Stock pickups they are great however I may replace them with dimarzio's somewhere along the line.

Well I bought this guitar used so it was never going to be prefect however it is prety damn good. When this got traded into the store I got it from it was in bad condition and they have brought it up well. The repair guy gave an excellent job of a neck and action adjustment and my only coplaint is that there is fret buzz on the 5th fret of the A string, nothing that can't be fixed of course..
The brigde and locking nut system are good, my g string goes out when I use it so I need to tighten the locking nut above it, otherwise the other stings stay where they should.

I have not had this guitar for long however it had to be sent by express mail to me from the other end of the country(long story...) and it surived that encounter perfectly. I would not gig it without a backup because that is just not how I run lol, it is realiable for live purposes none the less. The strap buttons are solid and the paint finish will take a fair beating before bombing out.

No warranty because it is second hand however I doubt I will ever speak to the support group.

Overall it is a worthwhile guitar, it sounds prety good, plays well and is mostly durable, don't expect it to be in perfect condition when first recieved...but otherwise I do not regret buying this guitar at all and the combination of features compared with the price and sound leads to this getting a thumbs up(Y).

24-fret solid body strat-style guitar. Even with the stock pickups, this thing tears up through an AVT50 half stack. Floyd Rose trem is great and stays in tune through hell and back. One volume and one tone control (that's all you really need anyway, right?) H/S/H pickup setup with 5-way selector. I plan on replacing all of them with Seymour Duncan's anyway. This thing is great for playing anything Van Halen related. Love this thing!

As I said, great for Van Halen. My band, Ominous, sounds a lot like a Science-era Incubus band. Using it with a Morley Bad Horsie Wah, DOD Stereo Phaser, DOD Digital Delay, DOD Gonkulator Modulator, DOD Mystic Blues Overdrive, and an Ibanez Stereo Chorus, it sounds incredible. Insane distorted sound on the bridge pickup and crystal clear clean sound on the neck pickup. Only problem is that stupid single coil!

I got it used. It buzzed slightly on the E string and one of the frets were sticking out a little bit out of the neck and the string would get caught on it (it's an Ibanez), but they're fixed now. It had a ding next to the bridge pickup, but it WAS used. Low action for lightning-fast leads (like I said, Van Halen!). No wonder Steve Vai and Joe Satriani use Ibanez!

This guitar is the most durable I own. My Les Paul comes out of tune after jamming (this doesn't). The hardware is starting to fade to gray but it still works as if it were brand new. The finish is great. I could depend on this thing for years to come.

I've been playing for about seven years and I love this thing to death. I can't believe I paid so little for it. I would only trade this thing for a PRS McCarty Hollowbody II or a Gibson Les Paul Class 5. That's it!

Good sound all 5 settings. Using a Digiteck RP2000 through a Crate GFX65. Very full sound. I like metal so this works for me. I can't help but wonder what a good pair of seymour duncans might sound like.

I got mine used so I don't know if the factory did a good setup or not. My action is low, just above buzz. The neck is one of the fastest that I have played. It take little or no effort to fret a note.

This guitar lives for abuse. It takes a lickin and keeps on ticken. I am very impressed with the hardware. Of coures with the tremlo it's a pain to tune. Once it's in tune it stays there. I removed the oversized stap buttons and replaced them with a pair of schaller buttons for straplocks. Only a fool would play a gig without a backup.

I never used customer support. I do think the Ibanez web site is weak at best. Go to the Fender site and punch in a serial number and they can give you all the info on your guitar.

I prefer the 370 over my Ibanez JS100 which is brand new. It's a keeper. I won't sell or trade it.The best thing about this guitar the the ease of playing it. If your hand is sore after jamming on this puppy, you might be drinking too much coffee. It is muck lighter than a strat with good sustain. If you have a chance to get one, do it.

I'm not sure what year this guitar was made because I bought it used. It was made in Korea. It has 2 knobs (volume and tone) and a 5 way selector. it has a H-S-H pickup configuration... however, the middle pickup is too high up, and cannot be lowered enough... it gets in the way of my picking... you can visibly see the edge of the pickup being worn down from my pick hitting it. It has 24 frets,a rosewood fret board, Floyd Rose... Finish is turquoise.

I play metal, and this guitar works fairly well for that purpose... I now have 10s on it, and have it in Eb. I use a Sans Amp GT2 for distortion, Boss ME-30 for clean/lead effects, and a Crate Excalibur 90 Watt amp. This guitar has a fairly thick sound to it, and gives a good amount of low end crunch... something vital to my playing style. The stock pickups aren't the greatest... but they're MUCH better than the stock pickups on my Warlock.

The action on this guitar can be set fairly low... but due to some other problems (which i will discuss in Durability), there will be buzzing in some spots no matter how you adjust it. The middle pickup is annoying, plain and simple. It is too tall, and cannot be lowered enough to get it out of the way... it is right where I pick, and thus creates problems. My friend has an RG550, and he was able to lower the middle pickup into the guitar... so it was COMPLETELY out of the way... if only you could do that here!!!

First off, my rating here may be slightly unfair... I don't know how old this guitar is... it could be 7 years old or more... I'm not sure since I bought it used. But in the 3 years I've had it, it has deteriorated consistently.
When I first got it, I didn't really have any problems (or at least I didn't notice them yet since I was new to guitar). However, after a year or so, I began to get buzzing... I tried raising the action, but even the entire way up it wouldn't go away. There are several "dead spots" on the fret board: 22 and 23 on the high e, 10-13 on the low E... you get little to no sound out of these frets at any given time.
The neck has warped a bit, and some of the frets are starting to pop out.... I will probably have to replace the neck at some point.
The guitar itself could withstand playing live... it's more a matter of dealing with the buzzing.

I have been playing for 3 years. I also own an Ibanez RG7620 and a BC Rich NJ Warlock. I like the guitar for the most part... but the neck problems and the middle pickup are detrimental to my playing. If I were to replace the neck and scrap the middle pickup, this guitar would be a LOT better. Other than those problems, I have no complaints about it. If it were stolen, I might consider buying a new one... but on the other hand, i'd probably just buy another Warlock. :)

It plays awesome for a shredding guitar, and you might like it for it's incredible sustain. Very bright and tight sound, excellant low end. I'm using it through a Fender Prinston Chorus and I get all the playability I can handle out of it. It's not noisy at all. Everything that uses distortion is perfect for this guitar, but don't use it for clean sounds, it's not good at all at those.

1991, Korea. 24-frets. Solid with bolt-on rosewood neck. "Jewel Blue" color. 5-way selector for 2 humbuckers and 1 single coil (H/S/H). 2 knobs: volume & tone. Passive Electronics. Standard pickups (Ibanez?). Floyd Rose Tremelo with locking nut. Non-locking tuners. Very very slim neck yet not too flat. Strat body style.

Pretty good for heavy music (punk, metal) but I also use it for playing directly into my mixer for recording (clean signal) and for playing non-distortion guitars / folk-rock things. I use it with a Fender Champ 25 tube/solid-state amp.
The single coil is noisy by default. But it has the best sound for the clean channel. For distortion, the neck humbuckers are great and thick.

Action was good for me, not too low and not high. No flaws when I got it from the factory.

I used to play very hard on my guitar and abused this guitar a lot. It is almost 10 years old now, and I had to replace the plug and one of the wires inside the guitar. That is from my throwing the guitar around and jumping around on stage and into the audience and having the cord rip out from the guitar and such... I beat up that guitar a lot and it's still working and tough. The finish is still there, besides a few nicks from being banged and thrown and all that.
The only negative when playing live with this is the floyd rose / locking nut setup: if I break a string, it takes a good 5-10 minutes to restring and tune the thing! But once it's in tune, it never gets out of tune!

This was my first electric guitar and my own electric guitar. I love the neck: it is very very thin but not flat (like the today's Ibanez guitars) and it is very playable. I can't get myself to buy another guitar because no other neck comes close to this one. And this guitar has stood up to a lot of abuse.
The electronics could be a bit better though. After all these years, the pickup selector is a bit noisy when changing pickup selection. Again, the Floyd Rose annoys me because it is so hard to tune the guitar. I might get Sperzel locking tuners and get rid of the locking nut so it's faster to restring the guitar. I would have preferred a fixed bridge, but then I use the tremolo sometimes.
Because of my love with the EX370's neck, when I'm ready to buy another guitar, I might actually just buy a new guitar body/electronics and just bolt this neck onto the new guitar. :)

Made @1995 in Japan, this guitar has 24 frets, 1-volume and 1-tone knob with a 5-way switch. Pickups config = H/S/H. I use EMG '89s (work GREAT!) with active technology. Not sure what kind of wood the body is made of, but is very sturdy. Finish is solid paint with clear overcoat. Body style is Strat type but much more sleak. Comes with a Floyd Rose bridge. Locking nuts with Fine tuners on the bridge. Neck feels wonderful.

The sound, along with my EMG's, is downright awesome. Great attack with distortion (Digitech processor and BOSS Metal Zone pedal) Clean sounds are down right beautiful. I can get a picky strat sound all the way down to a warm boxy gibson sound. I've always been complimented on the tone I am able to achieve, EMG's have a lot to do with that, but I have the original pickups on my sh*t guitar, and it delivers a great sound as well.

The action on this guitar allows you to FLY! I have 2 other great guitars(R Rhoads & American Deluxe Strat) and I can do more on this one than the others. I especially love the 24 frets. You'd be surprised just how much of a difference those 2 extra frets make. There's a ring on my 18th fret (just on high-e string), but no big deal. Overall, the action is FANTASTIC!

Damn reliable and guitar. I had an older model and broke the neck. After it was fixed, it was even stronger than before. I plan on keeping this guitar until my hands fall off. I won't sell it for the world. I would definately use it w/o a backup at a gig if string breaking was not an issue. This guitar is one of my best friends, and it treats me as though I am the same to it. Never a problem, always there for me.

I've been playing guitar for 11 years, and this guitar is by far my favorite. I also own a Jackson Randy Rhoads and a Fender American Deluxe Strat. Both are great guitars, but I always find myself coming back to this one, especially when I'm in the "Metal" mood. Never once have I second-guessed buying this guitar. Ibanez simply makes a great guitar. Even their bottom-of-the-line kicks @ss. I would highly suggest buying an Ibanez. And if you've got the money, their top-of-the-line guitars are phenomenal!!

I have no idea when it was made. I think it was made in japan, but I can't remember. 22 frets. It's got one tone and one volume knob, and a five-way selector switch. it's h/s/h and got a maple neck and fingerboard It's some kind of cool transparent bluish green color. It has a strat styling, but no pickguard, which makes it look cool I don't know what type of tremolo it has, but it's pretty cool. It can go down about 2 octaves on the low E-string and about 2 whole steps on the high E. It has jumbo frets. Everything is gold plated. Tuners aren't too great. I would recommend buying locking ones.
Sound
:

I play alternative, metal, punk, ska, and classic rock. It has great distortion and harmonics and if you have it clean with the bridge and mid pickups it gets this cool popping sound good for hammer-ons and stuff. I use my stereo and a DOD attacker distortion pedal. It gets a lot of feedback if you have everything all the way up and you put it on the bridge pickup. An annoying problem I had was that the tremolo springs squeaked a lot when I used the whammy bar. I fixed that by putting a little motor oil on each of the springs.

The guitar will only withstand live playing if you get locking tuners. The hardware and finish have obviously lasted for a long time because they stopped making this model awhile ago. The first day I got it the strap slipped off the strap button and it almost fell on the floor but I caught it by the neck and stopped it. So I would reccomend that straplock stuff. I wouldn't use it on a gig without a backup because I break a lot of strings, including the lower ones because I'm crazy and hyper and stuff.

I've been playing 2 years. I own a samick acoustic. If my electric were stolen, I wouldn't be able to afford a new one, but I would hunt down the person down that took it and possibly kill them. If it were lost, I'd find it. I love its sleek neck and maple fingerboard and it's tremolo. I hate the sqeaking tremolo and the tuning problem. My favorite feature is the tremolo, although I prefer a floyd-Rose. I was thinking about getting a new Jackson JS20, or an Ibanez Talman, but I chose this one because I saw it at the Victor Litz Sidewalk Sale and it was a good price. The retail price was $650.
