This guitar is crap. Let's start by gettin that outta the way. Now, as far as features go it has none. Just a single bar pickop and a loudness knob. It has a bright red paint job and a tone swich on the side. It not active souning but not pastive too. The red is cummin of in cupple spots and the back. I had it sinse 1990 and i like thing about as much as geetin gas in my I. If I was GEttin another guitar soon I WOULd Sure Thro this away.

Sound : 3
Sound is bad. not a good guitar sound at all but i had it for a wyle and it sorta cros on me. I PLAY IT with a big CRAte amp and the sound can get goodan lawd. I AM the guitarist in a country band and we play cupple time a month in Kentucky near LExington. I use this here guitar and it works. I need a better one.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 3
I can push the string down easy on it. Action is good. Not heavie wood in the body. Red paint cums of easy when bumped on anything. neck is fair to good. It stay in tone pretty good. brige is not bad. chrome is poppin of.

Reliability/Durability : 4

1968 oval shaped 6 string with 2 single coil Randall pickups. It plays better than my acoustic Martin but not as good as most electric gtrs.
It has maple neck and square inlays on rosewood fingerboard. The tuners are imported and cheap with no name brand. Frets are small and uneven.

Sound : 6
The sound is lumpy and coarse. I cannot get very good quality tones from the immortal. It is lightweight and if it were not for the scratchy sounding pickups the guitar might get played more often by me. I like the body shape and neck size.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
Action can adjust some but the bridge is one piece and cannot fine tune. The neck rod is my only way to keep this thing playable. Body is painted white and it has flaws in the finish.

Reliability/Durability : 4
Don't count on the Immortal. It will probably let you down.

I have had the Immortal for over 10 years and used it when I first started playing. I have owned a Fender for over 7 years and use it most of the time to play in my band. I have a Martin Acoustic 6 string too.I got a Kent 12 string for my 12th birthday and couldn't keep it in tune. After trading it for this gtr I finally was able to learn to play.

Immortal guitars were made for a few years but this model was only produced in 1968. It is a teardrop shaped semi-hollow body with a Randall string pickup and a wooden bridge/stationary non adjustable
tailpiece. It has white lacquer and a thin neck with rosewood fingerboard. I have no case for the Immortal but keep it in a Hohner gigbag which fits it almost exactly.

Sound : 4
The single coil pickup sounds rough and noisy but cando rather fine if run through a ME-10 processor. I have used it on road trips and it has done OK. I think it naturally lacks brightness but eq can bring the highs back. It is poorly adjusted and the action is high.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 3
I cannot get the action down without redoing the fretboard. I know this was a cheaply produced instrument which was not at all popular. It is a bit like a Vox guitar made in the early sixties. The white lacquer is poorly applied.

Reliability/Durability : 2
I have used this on stage but I am not fond of it as a live playing instrument.
