Solid-Top Shelby Model by Indiana Guitar company. The label states made in China while the little tag looped over the tuners implies American manufacture. Maybe a little of each. Very attractive styling with subtle inlays and a minimal tortoise-shell pickguard. I don't know what kinda wood its made out of but its not plywood and it has a nice smell. I bought mine at a small local shop and the owner was happy to throw in a pack of Indiana Strings and a beat-up clapboard case.

Actually, a very rich tone on this guitar. Very full sound, the whole instrument hums and resonates nicely. Lay into it with my pick and it can get nice and loud, fills a room easily.

Great action, low enough to stay quick and nary a fret buzz unless it was my fault for missing the fret. Great intonation all the way up the neck and the tuners seem quality and can keep the instrument in tune over night.
Here is a catch, mine was set-up so damned well... And sitting next to the one I bought was an identical Shelby model that didn't sound near as nice, the action on that second guitar had the strings buzzing and muting and it couldn't hum like the one I bought. I am more than happy with the workmanship on mine, but only sampling two I couldn't say whether mine was the exception or that the other Shelby was just an unfortunate lemon.

Its been a month and I've been playing it quite often and so far so good. The finish seems quite good and the bridge feels nice and sturdy, I could see myself playing this guitar 10+ years from now.

I haven't dealt with the company at all, but the owner of the shop where I bought it assured me if anything did go wrong he'd be able to sort it out on my behalf. A trustworthy guy, he seemed confident this Indiana Guitar Company would honor their 10 year warranty.

Awesome sound, rich and can really sing out with great volume. Awesome looks, tasteful inlays and pickguard over a nicely grained blond body. And all for a hell of a great price. If you ever see one in a shop, PLAY IT! It might surprise you.

I play a variety of styles and this guitar sounds rich and beautiful in any of them. I've had many compliments from other guitarists concerning the depth and balance of tone.

I pulled this guitar out of the box-tuned it-and damn it was sweet. The wood looks nice, all of the decorative features are tasteful and pretty. A few minor blems in the finish. No big deal.

I've had it for over a year and I drag it everywhere. It's taken a few falls. Suffered a few dings, but it's still awesome. I would definitely depend on this guitar to gig,but would back it up as I would if I gigged with a $2000 Taylor.

Never dealt with the company directly and when I was ready to purchase another Indiana guitar from them, their site was offline. Too bad. It has a limited warranty.

This guitar must've been built on a day when the stars were aligned just right and the factory workers were happy. It's unbelieveable for the money. I want to try another Indian guitar to see if I just got lucky or the level of craftsmanship is that high on all models. I could've spent(and have) much more money for a name brand guitar that couldn't touch this in looks, tone or playabililty. I've been playing for 20 years now and have never seen a deal like this.
