The Hollow versions are a hidden gem for those guitarists who require a little more debth of tone.
Machine heads are Grovers, the bridge is Tune-O-Matic, the whole set up keeps its tuning very well, needing only an occassional tweak ensure accuracy.
The guitars looks very much like a PRS MacCarty hollow body but is much cheaper !!

Sound : 10
I play mostly pop, rock and blues and this guitar suits it all !
In combination with my Fender Hot Rod De Luxe amp and the Boss GT6 floorboard I get a variety of possible tones and I haven't found any tone or stye that I can't at least get close to. This guitar changed my soloing style just because of what it is capable of delivering.
My other guitars are a Fender strat Plus De Luxe of 1989 and a Vorg jazz guitar (made by Pearl in the mid 70-ies). But I play mostly now the Indie because of its varieties.
No problem at all if you want to rock out with it.. they are realy meaty! ... but on clean?,, well it really takes most people by surprise. So warrm with a rich debth of tone.

The pickups sometimes may sound a bit too bright, but the tone control does its job very smoothly.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
My guitar was set up very nice by my guitarshop. I bought it at The Soundhouse shop in Hoogeveen (The Netherlands). No flaws in finish, everything perfect!

Reliability/Durability : 10
I play this guitar now for about three months. I would never gig without a back up but in this case ill never need a back up!
I changed the strap buttons for Schallers but that's just me, I don't trust normal strap buttons, and I would hate to drop this baby.

Never dealt with the company. So I can't give any rating to that. The shop I bought this guitar was outstanding. I bought a PRS SE Custom, but I wasn't satisfied about it: the balance wasn't very good, too heavy for me. I was looking for a hollowbody, but the PRS MacCarty was too expensive for me. So the shop showed me the Indie, that they had in stock since a couple of weeks. A very good suggestion !

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing guitar over 35 years. Always been a Fender-fan, but I'm afraid that this Fender is taken second place to this Indie. Probably because of the comfort of playing of this guitar and the allround character of it. Plus: the weight is good (Fender en Gibson guitars are much heavier). If it was lost or stolen I would replace it, that's for sure !
