The Indie Les Paul i bought was made in recent years. Its a solid top, With the standard switch and selector of a Les Paul. It has a stop tail ridge but has a lot of tone and sustain in the body and pickups.

Sound : 10
The sustain in the pickups is incredible, almost like a dean, and the sound has a lot of clarity. When distorted the pickups are not as muddy as usual les paul's in fact they are nicer for Sweeping and shredding. I used a 100 watt fender amp and put the amp and guitar to the test with it's sound, and the guitar is very versatile, i played blues, to Flamenco to metal and it held out very well.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The Look is quite vain, with the scratch plate being a mirror and the marble with a silver touch to it.

Reliability/Durability : 10
The guitar will most certainly go through a gig without any trouble, the instrument is amazingly sturdy and looks quite durable. The finish looks as though it will shine for a many a years and looks incredible. The strap buttons are very wide and inside the shop i had quite a rough time getting the strap on, but once it was on, it wasn't coming off. I would keep this guitar for my main gig guitar and i intend to do so with it being my only guitar as i have no reason to expect any part of it to fail.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing just over 3 years, and i play all different styles such as Blues, Metal, Jazz, Flamenco and Classical and this guitar seems to suit all of these.i have no regrets in buying this guitar and if it was to be stolen i would happily pay out to get it back again. I compared this to LAG guitars with standard pickups and EMG's and the sound did not compare, this guitar was highest in the ranks. I play Through a Ibanez, Digitech (death metal), GLX and Arion distortion which then goes through my Zoom 2020, i own a Vintage Les paul and a Vintage SG, A 2006 Custom body art B.C Rich Mockingbird and a 2005 Fender Statocaster with a Seymour Duncan Hot rail humbucker and none of my guitars come close o my Indie Leas Paul.

The look is original but I wouldn't expect seeing a band like Dragonforce ever playing one of theese soon with that look. The look is still alot of fun and seeing how I myself is scottish I personly prefer the look of the St. Andrew model.

Sound : 9
The distortion it can hold is impresive and is very close up behind a Gibson or Dean.

As below

The union Jack gives this guitar a very unique appearance, and to admit i was put off by this at first (not your usual les paul looks!), however, when i picked this up and played it you could feel the quality!

Sound : 10
I play mainly rock, punk and blues and it suits all these perfectly. For blues, switch the middle pick up on with that hint of gain, and you have the sweetest tone that i have ever heard out of a les paul.
Very rich and full sound, plenty of variety in tone HUGE range.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Factory set up was perfect, I played many guitars before this including an epiphone les paul custom and gibson les paul studio, neither were as good as this. No flaws in finish, everything perfect!

Reliability/Durability : 10
Has lasted me for two years, no problems. Everything seems solid, starp locks are great.
I would never gig without a back up but in this case ill never need a back up!

Customer Support : 9
I recently mailed the company on their upcoming ISG range, had a response the next day (watch out for these guitars - Gibson and epi slayers) Havent had to contact them about this guitar though.
No warranty provided

Overall Rating : 10
Been playing 6 years now and i own a Fender American strat. If this guitar was stolen i would happily pay double the price that i originally paid to get it back!
As i mentioned before i played epi's and gibbo's before this guitar and this guitar was of such a better all round quality than these subordinates.
The indie brand are the epiphone slayers, dont be fooled by the epi's looks and dont waste your money on the Gibson les paul studio, this guiatr is so much better than them, go buy it now!

I play mostly indie and rock and this guitar is perfect for it. i use it with my marshall and ive also got a digitech bad monkey overdrive pedal. its a great sounding guitar, can go from a clean jangle to a distorted heavy metal sound. you can acheive virtually any sound by using the tone controls.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The guitar was set up great, no problems with the action, rhythm pickup was a bit "in the body" of the guitar when i got it but an adjustment with the screwdriver and it was sorted. the guitars aesthetics were perfect, a great Union Jack finish, shiny chrome hardware set up to perfection! no flaws whatsoever

Reliability/Durability : 9
ive got strap locks anyway, i didnt fancy using the standard strap buttons - i dont trust them! i just couldnt imagine what id do if i dropped it! the finish is great, the guitar is built to last and the hardware seems solid as anythin! when im playin it it just seems.....like the sturdiest guitar ive ever played!

Customer Support : No Opinion
3 months warranty from the shop, never dealt with the company

Overall Rating : 10
If this guitar was ever stolen then I would personally kill the person that stole it!!!!!!!!!! its a godsend - a quality guitar with great sounds, and for the price, one of the best guitars around!!!
