This is a Korean-made Italia Modullo III, which looks like a Stratocaster, but with sparkle top and its back covered with white marine pearl plastic. The neck is also covered with this stuff. Weird, but actually nice, and easy to play. I wonder about all that plastic impeding the resonance, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The guitar has a P-90 in the bridge and two Strat-like pickups in the middle and neck positions. Mine is blue sparkle. Very cool. The pickup is an art deco triangular shape. The neck is chunky but comfortable.

The jury is still out on the subject of sound. Played clean, it sounds acceptably good, but with distortion kicked in, the P-90 is very muddy and the other pickups are just adequate. I'm not real pleased with the sound.

Factory setup was not good. It needs one really badly, and at this point, I don't know that I want to spend the money. The frets buzz and it doesn't hold a tuning especially well. Disappointing!

It's built like a tank. I'm sure it will last for years.

Although the Modulo III accurately reproduces the bizarro vibe of those crazy Italian guitars of the sixties, I have a feeling I'm not going to keep this guitar. I think it's going up on Ebay. I just have too many other really nice guitars to mess with something that's mediocre.

New Italia Modulo III in blue sparkle with a white marine pearl back and neck. Odd, but cool. It looks like a Strat, but with a Wilkinson P-90 at the bridge. Wilkinson trem. Standard three controls like a Strat. Very cool triangular pickguard.

Not pleased. The P-90 is muddy, and the middle and neck pickups are worse; weak and without much character.

Strings buzz terribly, workmanship is OK. The plastic covering really captures the vibe of Italian 60s guitars, but I can't help but think it somehow impedes the resonance of the guitar.

It will not stay in tune, and the Wilkinson locking tuners are not easy to work with. Overall, the guitar feels cheap, as if it won't hold up.

I don't think I even want to invest $50 in a setup on this guitar. It's going up on Ebay this weekend. It looks cool, but that's about it. I'm done with Reverend, Eastwood and Italia guitars for good.

This is a new guitar purchased off of ebay. It has a 25" scale neck, medium jumbo frets with a bolt on neck. the body is made from Agathis and is covered on the back with a really cool mother of pearl material. the top has a majorly cool red sparkle finish. Has 2 Wilkerson single coils [stag mag] and a wilkerson P90 in the bridge position and tremelo.
Strat shaped body with locking tuners! The guitar has other trim pieces with a cool gold bead between the top sparkle material and the mother of pearl back. Very cool.

Very hot and balsy!! The single coils have a great SRV sound, the p90 sounds a lot like a humbucker, big and loud. No noticable hum. I am playing through a Line 6 HD 147 head with a line 6 cab. It sounds great through anything.
