used to play it straight into fender princeton chrous, not bad at the time i bought it, when i didn't corcern too much about tone and bother using effects. stock pickups are weak, a little muddy, not a problem if you play casually, big deal if you try to play it with certain style, it doesn't sounds very musical n lack of clarity.
the tone knob doesn't really change tone, the bridge pick up sounds ok though,
suprisingly this guitar was not noisy at all with volume full on.
at the time i bought this i had no issue with this guitar but now i know there are something better out there.

i can't remember what it was like when i bought it but i lowered the action and raised the pickup height.
the finishing is actually a pass, although the so call quilt top is pretty ugly actually....no obvious fault around.
the hardware are cheapos. gold plated hardware started to fade out quickly on the tuners and bridge.

this guitar won't withstand live playing for long, although i did it for couple of times and it did hang on there.
the tuners actully never stayed in tune for more than 2 songs... the finishing on the guitar is pretty smooth and evenly done, a little thin though,
pretty solid strap buttons, plus this is a pretty light weight guitar, never drop it during my ownership.
i think i won't even use this guitar for back up purpose now.

I played for 12 years. this guitar was a gift from my mrs at the time. i m playing a epi Lp classic and a Sg standard with modified(better) hardwares and pickups, through a boss me50 and 60W fender princeton chrous.
it is a ok guitar but i believe there are better choices around with a similiar price tag.

it suits my music style (rock)
im using a Yamaha
Its very quiet, even on highish settings
its got quite a bright sound
It doesn't have tons of variety but it has enough for the style of music i play.
I really like the awesome colour and finish, and it was a great price for the guitar

The action was good and there was no need for adjusting (nice and low)
the pickups were adjusted fine again, not need for adjustment
there were no major flaws I could find at this time

Yes it would stand live playing
the hardware seems like it would last quite awhile.
the finish has been applied well and seems very thick
the strapbuttons are v/solid
I could depend on it
if I had a backup i would bring it.
