The sound this guitar creates is pretty impressive. Played along side a Les Paul Studio. Ya I know it's a Studio. It holds it's own dispite the 1000 price difference.

The neck on this guitar is a thing of beauty. Nice and fast, but still feels like a Les Paul. The Flamed maple and clear coat are simply stunning. The Klusen tuners are not only as smooth as silk, but they look pretty vintage. I was very impressed with the appearance of this guitar.

This thing is built like a tank. I'm not sure what it weighs, but it was a tad heavier then the Gibson Studio. The pots are full Alpha's not the half pots that the Epi's use. The tone is altered through out the entire swing, not just at the beginning and end on some cheaper pots.

I've owned a hand full of guitars over the years, but this is the best deal I've ever came across. I was going to by an Epiphone for almost twice as much, I'm glad I didn't. The bridge pickup is fairly hot and has anice growl to it...Can't get enough of that pickup...
