I have one Squier Tele (made in Japan) and one custom-tele, (made in Finland, mainly Schecter & ESP-parts)
This is as at least as good as them. Sounds like telecaster but the semi-hollow body gives sustain and more dark sound. I play with ENGL Screamer (great amp!), so I can get humbucker-sound from single coil pickups too.
Maybe I'm gonna in the future change the bridge pickup to Shadow Twinbucker like I have done with my other teles, but it works with original pickups too.

Not as perfect as custom-made teles or good "real" Fenders , but much better than any other new tele-copy I have played.
The headstock does not look quite like in other teles, but it's a beautiful guitar.

I have been playing guitar for 40 years, this is one of the best guitars I have ever owned. During years I have used many "real" Fender Telecasters also. Maybe I should buy another J&D Tele.
