24 frets, purple quilted flame top, 1 vol, 1 tone, 5 way selector, s/s/h stock passive pickups, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, med-jumbo frets, ibanez/jackson shape strat type body, licensed floyd rose bridge, sealed stock tuners gotoh style, 25.5 inch neck scale. Only wish is was a H/S/H rather than a S/S/H pickup style

Low output to a certain extent but a nice sound. Nice fat humbucker sound without being too muddy. I use a Yamaha DG Stomp through to a Peavey 5150II 120 watt head and quad box. It suits it well however i also have an Ibanez Jem which has a lot louder output so my setup is defined to that guitar rather than the YC-908 (which is used as a back up on stage - but was my main axe till i got the jem)
Single pickups on the guitar are great for low noise smooth sounds. Lead on them will break apart a little on loud performances.

The finish is spectacular. 10 out of 10 for that alone. However the high E string seems to have a buzz while its played open - and cant seems to be fixed Hmmmmmm. Action is okay, nothing too wrong here but its not the fasted board ever. On the other hand the neck is a good shape and does speed up playing. For a cheap guitar the fret reach is mangnificant. No problems getting to the 24th fret.

A reliable guitar. I have dropped it from waist height and it did seem to fracture the paint enough for some to chip off (the underneath corner). But nothing too wrong here. Cause the guitar has a floyd rose brige of course you should use a back up guitar at a gig, or the night is over.

No web site or and means to find any info. The shop i delt with to get the guitar has great customer support but as for J and D Luithers go. I feel all alone

I have played 10 years and use les pauls an ibanez jem and ra ra ra ra who cares. Basically its a great buy for the price. Not your usuall cheapy (Yamaha pacifica die) but not no Ibanez Jem. The finish alone, with that purple flame top, gold floyd rose and humbucking 24 frets is great. I wish it had a H/S/H set up and an angled headstock rather than a straight one. a not so good photo available here http://www.thejadedweb.com/guitar_jandd.jpg

I play power metal, 80's metal, and thrash. This guitar suits my style just fine. I play it thru a Line 6 Spider 2x12. It sounds awesome on just about any setting. The pickups seem to be noiseless. I believe they are medium output. Some guitarists might think it sounds thin on cheaper amps but on my amp it sounds great. Besides, I'd rather have it noiseless than have uncontrollable feedback. This guitar has rich full tones on clean with a little reverb. It can make just about any hard rock, blues, pop, funk sounds. The tone knob is not as versatile as my Ibanez RG470 but for 139 bucks I'm not complaining. I love just about everything on this axe. I can't believe they sold this guitar this cheap. Worth much more than I paid.

The guitar was set up less than perfect from the factory. It had fret buzz but I know a thing or two about setting the truss rod and I set it up perfectly. Now it has no fret buzz at all. I only have to adjust the neck once every 4 months or so to have totally no fret buzz. But this is common with many guitars cheap or expensive because the seasons with their temperatures and humidity affect the strings and neck. The pickups were set low, so I raised them a bit and it sounds even louder. Fretwire was smooth. When you look at the sides of the neck you can see that the craftsmanship is not perfect in the sense that it looks like they didn't pay 100% attention to detail in making it perfect but that's minor. Anyways, it feels smooth and perfect. The quilted flame top is a sight to behold. I've never seen a quilted flame top this beautiful at this price point. If you didn't know what brand it was you'd think this guitar looked like a 1000 dollar guitar. The vol. and tone knobs were a little oxidized probably from sitting somewhere with alot of humidity but I dabbed a little WD40 to prevent further oxidation. I sprayed the floyd also with WD40. All the hardware is a beautiful light gold.

I have had this guitar for a year now. I've played 6 shows with it so far and haven't had any problems. The hardware seems it will last as long as any other floyd copies. The finish on the body seems it will last a good 30 years as long as you don't abuse it like smashing it on the stage or hitting your drummer in the head. The strap buttons are large and solid. I depend on this guitar alot. I will continue to gig with it because it sounds great, looks great, and plays great. I always bring a backup because you never know when you might snap a string. Whether a guitar has a floyd or not you should always bring a backup. How embarrassing it is to have to change a string during a show.

I bought this guitar from a seller off Ebay. The store was Rondo Music in Union, NJ. They were very prompt with emails and they shipped it alot quicker than I expected. I think it came with a warranty but I don't remember what the warranty was or where I left the card. This guitar never needed a repair so far. Knock on wood.

I've been playing the guitar for about 19 years. I own a Gibson LP Special, Fender American Series Strat, ESP M100, Ibanez RG 220, Ibanez RG270, Ibanez RG470, Line 6 Spider 2x12, Crate GFX212, and a bunch of effects pedals and other accessories. If this guitar were lost or stolen, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if only I could find them. I found out later that they discontinued this model when I was looking to buy another one as a spare. Too bad, if people only knew how great this guitar is and especially what a great value it is they jump at it. I have several more expensive guitars and this one sounds, looks, and plays just as good as any of them.

Don't know what year, I bought it in June of 2002 from Rondomusic.com. 24 frets, photo flame maple top, 5-way switch, 1 volume and tone, S/S/H
pickups, licensed Floyd Rose trem, jumbo frets, all gold hardware.

Pretty good sounding, although I switched the neck pickup with an AP-11 from my Carvin's middle position. Not really noisy, kind of an all-purpose sound, but the humbucker gives me the pick squeals Ive been looking for. Awesome!

Not a flaw on the thing when I got it. Beautiful finish, had to set up action, pickup height, and intonation after changing the strings that it came with (not a problem, every guitar with a locking trem requires this eventually). The guitar sounds great now, no terrible fret buzz, and it intonates quite well all the way up the neck.

I'm not too keen on the gold hardware, but it all serves its function properly. Strap buttons are solid, as is the wiring and all of the screws. Sure, I could depend on it, I take good care of all my instruments. The only reason I give it a 6 in this category is because
2 of the headstock tuners were a little bent, and it was noticeable when I restrung it. No problem, though, the locking nut takes care of it.

Great CS, Kurt was prompt and Kurteous (pun intended). He says this was the last one he had, they discontinued it. Too bad!
