* Sounds incredible for any style. I have played in Heavy Metal to Pop Rock bands and couldn't have found a better guitar.
* Have used Peavey Triple XXX and 5150 amps along with Peavey combo blues tweeds
* Only noise comes from effects used
* Crisp Highs with full bottom end that is not overpowering or muddy
* The guitars made by Jim Nunis are custom in every aspect - any pick-up configeration and any wood construction. Any sound a player is looking for can be duplicated by a custom Nunis guitar
* Players that like super-thin necks may not favor Nunis guitars, but having said that, Jim Nunis can make any neck size that a player requests

* The guitar was set up in Jim Nunis' personal manufacturing studio and that action was perfect for me, because I was there to let him know what I needed.
* Pickups were adjusted great for my style of playing
* Bridge was perfect and guitars stay in perfect tune
* The cool thing about Nunis Custom Guitars is that you can order you guitar with incredible quality (Jim Nunis will find the best position for the bridge and saddle for every guitar he makes for best intunation) or you can order your guitar to look like it has been played for decades (relic)
Reliability/Durability

* I have played 20 live shows with the first Nunis Custom ever made for me and the only thing that had to be done was sanding of the back of the maple neck to get the sweat stains and grime from my acidic hands taken care of
* The way the strings are wound over the stop tailpiece (better tone that through tailpiece and less tension on saddles) a player may have to change the tailpiece every few years or so.
* Nunis Custom guitars are made with dunlop strap locks
* I have never had to worry about one of my 5 Nunis Customs before a show
* Every show I have played with FOZZY (heavy metal band featuring members of Stuck Mojo and Chris Jericho of the WWE) I never brought a back-up with me to the gig.

I have been playing Nunis Custom Guitars for about 2 years. On the way back from a couple of shows in New York, an airline mis-handled my guitar and the neck had snapped, it was a early 90's Les Paul Standard. I had heard from a friend that Jim Nunis could repair it. I gave Jim a call and we hit it off. Jim wanted me to come over to his house and see first-hand how his operation worked. Jim Nunis made a custom guitar for me in 2 weeks. The minute I picked up the guitar I gave Jim a check and told him to sell my Les-Paul on ebay after he repaired it. I f I could compare Nunis Custom Guitars to any guitar on the market it would be a 59 Les Paul Standard (if you can find one on the market). The guitars are constructed by hand for best tone and no scrap wood is used. Custom inlay work is included on every guitar
