I love this guitar. Even though it is Korean-made, it has been a pure delight to play. It has a solid top, I'm not sure about the wood types, but I'm sure one could find out with a little internet searching. It has covered, chrome tuners... a little generic, but they work fine. The finish is a flat-natural. I wasn't too crazy about that at first, but with 7 months of playing, it hasn't been buffed out in wear areas like my Gothic SG so I am happy. It has a surprisingly nice neck for a big acoustic. In fact, it's almost like an electric in its thickness. The only complaint in the neck department is that when I originally got it, there was some string buzz on the 2nd and 13th frets. I filed them down and it was all better. For as cheap as I got the guitar, that's no problem to me. I bought this guitar off of eBay (the only good score I've ever really made there).

The sound out of this baby is awesome. Good bass, but not overwhelming like many jumbos. Bright treble, especially if you use thicker guaged strings. I have no complaints at all in the sound category.

The person I bought the guitar from was evidently a wholesaler of possibly blemished guitars (the blemish in this case being the fret buzz). That was the only blemish I could find anyway.

This guitar, with some electronics would definately stand up to some live playing. The hardware is typical of Korean made instruments, so I would change it out before I did something as daring as play in front of other humans, but other than that, it's a go. The strap button are plastic, but we all know how cheap those are. I would use it at a gig without backup, because I know it is solid, and strings, for some unknown reason, stay tuned quite well immediately after putting them on this thing!

I've never had a reason to call them, but I'm sure they would be a pain just like every other guitar maker.

I have been playing for about 12 years. My other instruments include an old tenor banjo, Gibson SG, noname mandolin, a kamaka uke, and I think that's about it. I would most certainly buy another if this one were lost or stolen. What's more, I would pay full retail (about 300.00). Compared to other Korean made acoustics, this is the winner. Compared to USA made acoustics, it sounds as good, and with a few fixes here and there, I think it could hold its own.
