Double-cutaway thinline, single f-hole. Bound body and neck. 2 volume, 2 tone, 3-way selctor switch. 2 humbuckers. The top is alder if i remember correctly, the fretboard (21 frets, square inlays)is rosewood, i forgot the rest (some tree, right). The finish is a really nice sunburst, though the darker edges aren't transparent (the back and neck are transparent though, and the wood looks pretty). It's got a tune-o-matic bridge, and all gold hardware. The neck is fairly slim, and not particularly thick (everything about this guitar seems skinny). One thing i don't like about the guitar's form is the location of the pickup selector. It is pretty much right under the bridge pickup and i tend to knock it around a lot when i play... i have taken the plastic knob off to reduce incidents of this. It also came with a cream pickguard (les paul style) that i took off and often forget even came with the guitar. It didn't come with a case, but i think i got the guy to throw in a strap and a cable.

This guitar is subtle, and it sounds great on anything that calls for that. I have used it for a lot of different styles, mostly because for a while there it was the only good guitar i had. It really shines on what i mostly play, jazz and blues stuff, though i have found it to be well at home with progressive and space-rock stuff as well. It is not, repeat, is not a metal guitar... it is hard to get this thing to produce a sound that will cut through a lot of noise... and adding gain is just gonna cause some nasty feedback... but, since i have had so little reason to play anything of the sort, it hasn't been a problem. It has great tone, especially low-end, and the harmonics are fat. Just watch out for feedback (it is a semi-hollow afterall). I play it through an axsys 212 amp with a few extra effects in-line. They make a solid team, though it really really sounds good on a vintage tube amp with no extra effects too, i gotta admit.

For the price range we're talking, this was about as well-made a guitar as you can expect. there are no finish flaws, no dents, nicks, or missing bits. The logo on the headstock seems to be slightly discolored in one spot, but it's slight. The setup was fine, though i lowered the action a bit when i got ahold of it to suit my tastes.

I havn't had much in the way of problems. A couple things, though. First, because the guitar is so thin and light it is very very susceptable to the environment... it can go out of tune easilly as the temperature goes up on stage, when compared to some of my more solid guitars... but, tune it like every third song and your ok. I have also had some trouble with the connectors to the pickup jack getting loose and having to be resoldered, but it's less trouble than my old strat had with tha problem. Other than that, everything has stayed in place and is solid... i need to get the neck adjusted real soon, been fretting out on bends above a certain point lately, but that's just a routine maintenance thing...

I was looking at epiphone casinos and sheratons when i bought this thing. It sounds different than those, certainly, but all in all, between sound, weight (oh, did i forget to mention that it's light? we're talking parker weight-class here), and price, i couldn't have done better. I love the thing, and if it was stolen i'd be distraught for quite a while, then i'd go buy another one.

I play in a blues/jazz influnced rock band. this guitar gets every sound I want. It has tons of sustain with an over all sweet sound. The sounnd is like the othere semi-hollows but not as dark as an epihone...perfect for my taste but millage may vary..

The Set up perfect and the finish is great (cherry sunburst) it's not a total transperent, but you do get a nice look at the wood. The guitar plays great too..it kinda just melds into my hand.
