I won this in a competition at a local guitar store so i Didn't bother to find out were it was made.
It's got a nice fast neck with 24 frets. Great for shredding.
double locking is a let down. I fitted mine with a Edge pro 2 made by
ibanez. I changed the humbucker to a mirracle man made by bareFuckle.
so really I can't comment on the features because I have changed most of them

With the mirricle man it sounds like a monster. Great for death metal to grunge to even a bit of chicken picken ala Buckethead.
I play Steve vai, satch sort of stuff so this guitar is perfect for it

The store tinckered with the action so there was no problems.

I have been playing for 7 years. I own a THD amp which i run through some rocktron and Tc Rack effects. I have a $30,000 Les paul from way back which i got given. I own 7 strats and 13 varius gibsons, paul reed smiths and jacksons.
I play vai to martin taylor to Yngwie malmsteen to tre'Melor'e\
This guitar is shit compared to my other jacksons and guitars

Kelly custom guitar made late '98 in USA.
24 frets, solid top, 1 vol, 1 Hum (Seymor Duncan JB-4).
1 piece maple neck with ebony fingerboard and Bound Alder body.
Snow White Pearl finish all the way. Black Jackson logo.
Original Floyd Rose trem, with Schaller or was it Gotoh tuners.
25.5" neck (The neck is thin but not as thin as the japanese Kelly-3 guitars. It's more round than flat neck. It's still much more easier to play with my custom guitar.)
Hardcase, straplocks, 2 wrenches included.
Basicly it's the same guitar as the Marty Friedman signature, but with an Original Floyd Rose Trem, and a white headstock with black "Jackson" logo instead of black headstock and Mother of Pearl logo.

I play Yngwie Malmsteen kind of crap, but I like Megadeth, Metallica, and lots of other Speed/Trash/MelodicDeath metal bands.
With this guitar you can play fast arpeggios and lots more.
You can easily access the whole freatboard (thanx to neck-thru body and a great neck shape.).
Actually this guitar is not made for you who wants "Yngwie" sound.
Because he uses singlecoil pickups and old amplifiers.
But 4 u who plays metal = Perfect guitar for you.
Hey... I play Yngwie stuff, but I use more Distortion/gain/Metal.

Well I bougt this guitar used. But he who sold it couldn's play much with the guitar. He had 2 move to Norway and live there 4 quite a while. So When he came back to Finland he desided to sell it.
Did I mention that the guy who sold it to me didn't even have the time to change the strings not a 1 time.
But when I got the guitar I noticed that the guitar didn't have a scratch. It was basicly new from the store. The set-up was great (action and everything).

Hey!
This guitar seemes to last at least 100 years or more.
If you only would take good care of it and not do the "Jimi Hendrix" (put the guitar on fire).

Hey I don't need no support nor anybody else 2 help me.
If the guitar would somehow brake, I would fix it by my self.

I have been playing for about 10 years.
I have 4 guitars (Kelly Custom is the best).
I would buy the same guitar if it were stolen, that's for sure.
There's much to love and nothing to hate about the Kelly.
The best thing about it is that it is a neck-thru body guitar.
Next best thing would be Original Floyd-rose trem, Great Humbucker, and the neck.
Well the guitar would be better if it had a humbucker splitter (A switch who splits the humbucker).
From now on I will only buy guitars that have neck-thru body.
