i play pretty much punk and metal threw a digitech rp200 and a karioke machine for an amp(dont laugh its all i got), what is great is theres no noise from what i can hear, the sound for the bridge is a nice one all around and the neck is pretty decent but i stray from that but its pretty good sounding clean, with this beast i can get almost any sound.

the guitar is set up pretty well i havent had a problem yet and if i did it was on my own part, the pickups are pretty good i plan on putting emg's in when i get the money tho,no flaws except for a few dings when i smacked it against my metal-pyramid belt.

i havent played it live but its pretty reliable in my room, again i smacked this thing a couple times on accident and its pretty good ive had it for about a week and ive played it all day everyday pretty much and nothing wrong, the finish is thick i dented it and it just looked like i chipped a bowling ball so that should last, the straps havent bombed out yet so thats a go,pretty dependable and would i use it at a gig? FO SHO lol this is the best guitar ive ever played and ive played lots and lots of guitars since i started

It has 24 frets, master tone and volume controls, and a 3-way selector switch. It has a solid alder body, and a maple neck, with a rosewood fingerboard. 2 Kent Armstrong humbuckers. Double locking floyd rose tremolo. Jackson dinky body style. sharkfin inlays. The frets are bigger than they were on my other guitar, which I like. The frets have a really nice feel. The neck is very nice feeling.

I play heavy metal. (mostly Metallica) This guitar kicks ass for it. I am using it with an Ibanez TB-25 amp, a Zoom 505, and a BOSS HM-3 hyper metal. It has a great sound, with really good sustain. It's not noisy, and the volume and tone controls actually do something. If you want to play it clean, then I wouldn't recommend this guitar. However, if you want to sound like Hetfield or Hammett, then this is perfect.

It was out of tune (I didn't expect it to be tuned, because it got shipped) Tuning it was hard, becuse I didn't know how to tune a guitar with a double locking tremolo. Once you figure it out, then it's really easy. The action was a little weird feeling at first, but after about 5 minutes, it felt really good. It is very easy to play, and had no flaws that I have found.

It seems like it's very solidly built, and I would be shocked if something went wrong with it. Unless you're planning on smashing it, burning it, or throwing it against a wall, you won't need a backup. The tuners work really well, and the strap buttons are solid.

I have never dealt with Jackson, but Eastcoast music was very nice to deal with. They have the lowest price available for this guitar, and have good service.

I have been playing for about 6 months, and I love this guitar. I have no regrets about buying this guitar. I bought it because it had an alder body (very good sustain) Kent armstrong buckers', and a double locking tremolo. This is the best guitar out there for this price. It is $485 list, but Eastcoast music sells them for $300. I love the sharkfin inlays, and that the tremolo can go up or down into the body. I would recommend the metallic blue. It's a dark blue (not purple) that is very cool. This guitar has the best specs for the price. I love playing it, because it sounds so good that I can't believe it's mine, and not James Hetfield's. I would recommend this guitar for anybody who plays rock, metal, and maybe even blues.
