Well, what can be said? for the price i paid im a little embarrased, but hey, i think it was worth every penny. Iv played a squier FOREVER and thing thing was a worthless waste of space. I got this baby, plugged it in, and it was awsome. The floyed roses (i admit) are a pain in the ass, and i would rather i find asomeone who will string it on a regular basis..to save me the aggervation. Besides that, the duncan desinged pickups do thier job to some extent, and yes, id rather play it more than most of the over priced gibsons out there.

The sound is worth millions. The pickups are the major contribuation to this(in my opinion) and the guitar will wreak havoc on the stage. No feedback. Be warned if you wanna play it clean go w/ a chorus of some sort, because its not that great clean sounding.

The finish is decent. I have mine like a bluish blacking type and the action was great.

If it were lost, id get the same model, diffrent pickups, probly emg ones. But even though i paid high, im gonna want a new one, if something happens. Jackson guitars: job well done. The thing Kicks with a danelctro corus and a Boss metal zone.

I love this guitar, I got it in 1999 as my first guitar (I'm a new player) I've played everything from Ibanez's to Gibsons to Fenders and I have to say this is my favorite of all of them. I've even had a friend that has a 1981 Les Paul custom say he'd rather play my guitar than his because of the larger fret size and smaller neck diameter. It has 2 humbuckers that produce any tone that I need.

It really suits my music style (pantera-style metal, metallica, etc) I've used it with a Crate GFX-212 and a Fender DeVille with 4 10" speakers, and it sounded like shit, but only because the amp doesn't sound very good to begin with. I use a peavey rage 158 practice amp, and it sounds pretty good for such a small setup.

The guitar was perfect when I got it, everything was just fine. the finish doesn't scratch very easily (not that i've tried or anything) there were no flaws. the only problem (wasnt really a problem) was that I wanted to use 10's instead of the 9's that the factory installed, so I had to modify the floyd rose so i could use them, but that's not really a problem. I love this guitar

The guitar's been able to withstand all I've thrown at it, so i'd consider it really reliable and durable. It has had no problems at all so far and I play between 3-4 hours a day, every day.

More or less a generic metal guitar: Floyd-Rose licensed trem, 2 humbuckers, 1 tone control, 1 volume control, 3 way switch, 24 frets, bolt on neck. The Floyd is recessed into the body and the body is routed out underneath it. You can wham up and down. Just check out Jackson's website for this info. Nothing phenomial here.

The two humbuckers produce a very warm tone, and it great for metal and shred. You can dish out heavy rhythms and scorching lead with this guitar. The pickups are strong and powerful. I play through a Peavey 5150 half stack and the sound that comes out is heavenly! The feedback, if you know how to control it, is awesome! It can sing forever!

The body is finished very well and looks great! Only complaint is that the jack keeps jiggling itself loose from the side of the body. Screwing it back only gives it a chance to wiggle loose again. The 2 piece neck is well constructed and seems sturdy enough. I can't complain about the nut or the tuners. They do their job well enough. One major complaint though: the neck shifts in the pocket!! The bolts are tightened to their max. I think the holes are drilled out a little too big. Oh well, it's not that bad. But still... I'd rather it stay put.

Hmm... seeing that the guitar is jiggling itself to pieces and the neck shifts I wouldn't bet my life on this guitar. For it's price you know it's a throw away. Any mileage you get on it is simply good luck or a blessing. Have a back up. In our jam sessions I'm very careful about handling this guitar.

Overall, this is just a throw away guitar. It's not a long term keeper and it certainly isn't going to age like fine wine. Try milk instead. It's probably a lot better than what's out there. Save up and get something better. I traded a Squier, a tape deck, and a stereo amp for this guitar. Traded 3 things for 1 thing and reduced some clutter in my room. I don't think I would buy this guitar. If I lose it somehow, so be it.
