Brand new, off the rack, 24 jumbo frets, made in japan, gloss black with great flame inlay and white bound neack and headstock (i like bindings, it gives an air of quality). Uses S/S/H pickup layout with selector, all passive. Your basic guitar really.

The Duncan Design group have neverreally had my favour, I've always seen them in the same light as i see Epiphone with Gibson (And i dont like Epiphone). The sound isn't super for metal, its a very nice clear clean tone though. I see a very strong Fender influence in this guitar.

Ah the important bit;
The frets are absolutely fine, flawless in terms of build. I prefer to have neck trough and no trem so this guitar really shouldn't be my thing, but for some reason its just very attractive. The fairly slim and very deeply curved neck makes playing seem a bit of a chore, but you only notice this if you have played a lot of guitars (my hobby). If i must have a trem i would only ever chose ffloyd rose so this is a plus, its a locking tremolo. The reason i dont like locking tremolos is because i change my tuning setup frequently which you just can't with this guitar.

Jacksons are all very solid and reliable, never damaged one in my life, i'd always use a jackson without a backup, they are very tough and hardwearing.

Not a clue, shame you can't contact them personally though.

It's a very nice little piece, suitable for fender fans with a metal image. Money no object i'd disregard this guitar and look up the DKMGFF, or in my case DKMGTFF, though i don't particularly like the neck. So if you dont mind not having the flames, SLSMG is the answer.
Lovely guitar though : )

Dunno when it was made, but it's definately a japanese job. Or i could know nothing. Has 24 Jumbo frets, Volume and 2 tone controls with a 5 way selector, S/S/H "Duncan Designed" phft pickups passive. Rosewood and rock maple neck with mother of pearl flame inlays. Finished black. Strat style body. Jackson Floyd Rose approved bridge. Non locking tuners and they look fucked. No case, i think i got ripped on that one though.
8 because it came with everything i wanted, except case.

Sound as far as pickups go is pretty decent, pot's were a lil faulty in places and ya need to turn the volume down a tad on clean if your a hard srummer. Apart from that all single coils do a pretty darn tone rich job and the tone controls help when theres no choice except but loads of dist. THe humbucker will be replaced...
The note D echo's through the body which pisses you off and i dont think the guitar's dry sound is too flashy.

It came to my hands all out of strobe, electronics were a bit messy and there was one fret being a bitch. If i hadn't know how to solve these problems i'd be pissed, but it's all good.
5 for the fact that i could've been guitar maintenance retarded .
