This guitar was made in 2000 and was made in Japan , with 24 jumbo frets, 1 volume 1 tone a 3-way switch and H/H pickup Config. The Pickups are Seymour Duncans, the body is Alder with flamed maple top
with a strat body. Bridge is a Licenced Floyd Rose 5

This guitar is amazing for my style of music. I play from light (Big Wreck, Perfect Circle) to Hardcore/Metal (Dillinger Escape Plan, Mudvayne. Right now I'm using a Very small Peavy with a lovely Boss HM2, which I love dearly. I think the only thing that causes noise with this guitar is my pedal and possibly my amp, by itself its silent. On clean this guitar is quiet warm and full with sound, with distortion you could easily get any sound you'd like out of it.

When I got the guitar the Floyd Rose was already set up, so that saved me sometime. The action was great as were the pickups. The only thing that I had a problem with was the guitar input. The nut was loose so I had to do a little work to tighten it.

I would definitly use this on stage only problem being the Floyd Rose with the tunings. I love the finish on this guitar - an amazing black. It looks like it could take a beating. I'm jumped around with this guitar lots and the buttons havn't budged one bit. I could most definitly use this on stage but I would have backups for my alternate tunings.

I've been Playing for about 2 years and I love this guitar. I was shopping for about 2 months looking for a guitar, and I narrowed it down to the Ibanez Rg570 and the Jackson DX10D. They seemed the same so I liked the look of the Jackson better. So I went with it. My buddy just bought the Rg570 and I would most definitly take my guitar before his. It has a much brighter sound to it.

Look out!! this dinky from Jackson kicks ass!,I am using a Marshall 5210 50w combo(see my review)the distortion is ground-shakingly brutal, there is nothing I don't like on this baby.

Very well done,my DX10D is a trans blue (not metallic blue),the humbuckers are very well adjusted, the Floyd is staying put.

The DX10-d has a lot of sustain and crunch due to the duncan pickup
and the maple top ran through a ADA-mp1 into a marshall power amp
and marshall cabs this guitar rocks (CRUNCH HEAVEN)acoustily it has a
semi-bright tone but plugged in it roars!

The guitar was a little off when i got it but having set-up experience
it did'nt take long to get this axe to play like a $1000 jackson,
there were only minor adjustments needed.Neck has a decent thickness
but i prefer the super thin necks like a ibanez original wizard,so i
will shave it down.Frets are jumbo not perfectly crowned(what do you
expect for $350.

this guitar would last as long as any other with normal use,i am not
100% thrilled with the bridge(nothing beats a real floyd)it seem a
little cheap and cheap metal sounds brittle.

I have been playing for 25 years and this guitar is a very good deal
for players like me who believe you dont have to spend thousands of
dollars to play and sound good(look at old eddie vanhalen he spent
$150 for the black and white strat on the first record)I highly recomend
this model for anyone wanting a great jackson at a third of the price
of a USA model

I play metal and this guitar is kinf of right for it. The pickups are good enough, but could perform better. Not too niosy execept when using dist. Large variety of sound from jazzy and mellow to crunchy.

The action was a bit low for my taste, so I raised it. The pickups were well adjusted. Everything else was perfect.

This guitar is built like a rock. the finish if thick and will surely last, the same for the hardwere. the strap buttons are HUGE. pretty dependable, the only problem is the floyd, cause restinging is a drag the first time you do it, but with practice it gets simple
