A spectacular body on this Jackson. Something that no one else would have. With the slim jackson neck, floyd rose tremelo, TWENTY FOUR 24 jumbo frets, this guitar cannot get any better.

The floyd rose comes not without it's costs. The tuning, like any floyd rose, isn't quick and easy like a hardtail. However, the name seems intimidating, it's actually quite easy. It is time consuming however *matching spring with string tension* when i had to change 10 gauge strings.(it took me 4 hours personally, since it was my first time handling a floyd) But looking at the right lessons, it was very easy, but I did spend that much time for a reason, to get the perfect tuning. If you're sticking to 9 gauge strings, it shouldn't take nearly as long.

The body of course, is B. U. T. Full. I love it. It's just one of those guitars that stand out and you can say "haha, my guitar is different, while everybody else already has a start/lespaul/SG/ etc".

Now at first, you're wondering "my god, that must be the most uncomfortable guitar to play, ever". Not true AT ALL. You'll be surprised at how COMFORTABLE this guitar is. When I bought this guitar, I tried similar shaped guitars, but never actually tried playing this one. I was to surprised to say that this guitar is MORE COMFORTABLE then the stratocaster. Just try it yourself!

The guitar is also amazingly light weight. Barely weighs more than my beginning strat. I can strap this guitar up to my shoulders and wear it all day!

Sound : 9
I play mostly Metallica (like everybody else, yeah), and my amp is a Fender Frontman 15G (yeah, crappy practice amp, but it came in a pack with my strat). However, the guitar just makes the amp look good.

Through my Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal, this guitar is a beast IMO. Ofcourse, the humbuckers make the guitar sound just hard when distorted, the clean is just beautiful. Stuff like the Nothing Else Matters, More than Words, and Snow Hey Oh sound awesome, even through a crappy amp. I can only imagine how good it'll sound through a good amp.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
Like I said in the Features, this guitar is the most comfortable guitar I've played in my life. Jackson neck makes solos and chords easy.

The only thing I dislike about the guitar is the tremelo. Every time I use it, the screw loosens, which require me to tighten it. It doesn't fall off at all, it just gets loosened.

Reliability/Durability : 7
I've had this guitar for a month now, and it still isn't wearing down. However, being the silly person I am, I dinged the corner and now it's bent in. The top left leg of the guitar is so long, you have to watch out.

If I had a gig, I'd definitely carry a backup, just because I'm superstitious. Would I need the backup? definitely not.

Customer Support : 9
Guitar center was easy to deal with?

Overall Rating : 9
I have been playing for a little over a year now. To be honest, this guitar has made me a better player. It's just the playability of this axe is just, unexplainable.

At first the comfort really through me off, and when looking at this guitar, don't let that be a factor of purchasing this guitar. It really is a comfortable guitar, honest.

If someone stole this guitar, I'd probably cry to death and never play guitar again, because I'm never gonna buy another $500 guitar, but i love it.

Whenever my friends come over, and try out my guitar, not a single complaint has come out of their mouths. They absolutely love it, almost as much as I do.

However, the ultimate decision when you buy this guitar is, what kind of tunings are you gonna play. If you're gonna play standard, standard, standard. GET THIS GUITAR. DONT HESITATE.

However, if you're gonna play different tunings, don't even look at this guitar, nor other guitars with floyd roses.

Thank you Jackson, for this awesome guitar.

This guitar is perfect for my guitar playing and makes easy work of solos, arpeggios and general badass riff-mongering. I play lead guitar for hooliganSwamp, we generally play balls out Rock'n'Roll stuff. Through a 100watt JCM2000 TSL this axe is action packed. I got it as an upgrade for my first guitar(Jackson permormer) and both the action and detonator pickups took me to new levels of playing. BUT! After a year with the guitar the pots went intermittant and I went with the general consensus and upgraded the pups - Dimebucker w/coil split in the bridge and a '59 in the neck and the Warrior really starts kicking ass! With the detonators there's some degree of tonal diversity but they don't harness the full potential of this axe - especially with pickup selector in mid position. After a few mods this guitar will sound as good as one worth twice as much! (rated 9 with electronics upgrade) check out hooliganswamp on myspace to hear this beast in action! there's some sexy ass ones of me too... (er ok!)

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I got this second hand so don't know about factory spec, but the components are all great quality so you can play around with the action as much as you like. I've literally taken this guitar completely apart (all but removing the neck!) and it all went back together without a hitch. My favourite setup so far is to use heavy gauge strings (11s), put an extra trem spring in the back for more precise pitch diving, and tune to Eb so everything loosens up a bit. Do this and the guitar can do anything! Seriously this guitar is unbelievable. The finish is great and ready to take a beating - those horns arn't gonna stay fresh forever!

Reliability/Durability : 6
This guitar was built for gigging, I've gigged without a backup for ages and the only time it waent wrong was my fault for some dodge soldering. If you arte gigging then you shouldn't be worried about the finish, well not condidering the type of music you should be playing on this beast!
Extra large strap buttons are fine. (four marks knocked off for stock electronics)

Corporate whores all the way...

Been playing 7 years and this guitar is all I need to continue to improve, I keep finding harmonics in places I didn't know there were strings.. and all that sort of thing

2003, Japan made, one of the last Jacksons ever produced before Fender bought them out.
24 jumbo frets.
One volume, one tone, one three way toggle.
Two Duncan Designed Detanator pickups. (Think generic Invaders)
Alder body, decent stock strap buttons.
Bolt on 24 fret/25.5 ridiculously fast maple neck with sharkfin inlays.
Jackson Licensed Floyd Rose
Jackson tuners
Chrome hardware

Sound : 7
Reviewing this guitar, I guess it would be obvious I play metal. I play it through a Boss ME-50 in front of a Mesa Nomad. I give the guitar a 7 with the factory pickups, but I have since installed EMG 81 and 85's, and with that configuration I'd be leaning more towards a 9 or 10. The stock pickups weren't the worst I've heard, but the guitar definately benefitted from the upgrade. My distortion is really thick, palm mutes sound great, but it's still very clear, notes ring out well. I've heard a lot of complaints about active cleans (try rolling back the volume or something?), but the 85 in the bridge and a little of chorus and I'm very satisfied, I'm not as picky as I am with my clean as I am with my distortion though.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
This is where I really love the guitar. From the factory, I honestly can't tell you how well it was setup, because this was my first guitar with a tremolo and I broke a string before I played a chord on it. But when it's being stuffed in a boxed and shipped across the country, I'm not expecting anything fantastic anyway. I have had the guitar professionally adjusted and the EMG's set to factory spec and I couldn't be happier. It has one of the fastest, most comfortable necks I've played. I find nothing in its price range comparable. It has a very good finish, with its shape it has been banged a few times, and the two or three dings it has are no bigger than a pinhead.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I played the guitar on my own for a year with no problems at all, and I have been playing live with it for almost a year, with no problems as well. I find it to be a very reliable guitar. It's very sturdy, and the Floyd holds tune quite well. I can put it in the case, go to practice, pull it out, and only have to fine tune it. The strap buttons are definately the best stock buttons I've ever seen. They're huge. I had strap locks on it, but ended up taking them off because they hold my strap just as safely with zero nonsense. I would never gig without a backup, I have broke strings on this guitar live. Strings will break, the tremolo will go out of tune. You need a backup. You'd never guess from how ridulous it looks but it's easy to play sitting down.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never needed it

Overall Rating : 8
I have been playing for three years. I don't think I know everything or anything, but at this point in the road this guitar works well for me. With the couple upgrades I gave it, it's become a very realible and great sounding guitar that has been my main live axe for months. I have played/own Schecter, Fender, Gibson, Epiphone, Ibanez, Squire,, etc, and I never found a guitar I like as much. Basiically, it's a 500 dollar guitar that I find plays, sounds, and looks better than almost any guitar I've seen all the way up to the 800-900 dollar range. If you want serious bang for your buck, and expect the fact that you're going to end up replacing pickups on almost any guitar under 1000 dollars anyway, this is one to look into. Though I don't know if Fender is still producing them on this level of quality?

Japanese Made with 1 volume, 1 tone and a three way selector.
It has two Semour Duncan Humbuckers. i am not sure of the wood but The guitar is very light.
it has a Beautiful black finish, however i am never able to fully clean off the smudgy finger marks( be that my crappy cloth or the guitars finish).
it is a realy cool shape that is very comfortableto play. i mean i went into the store to try it out and i was shocked at how comfortable it was, im sorry kelly fans but they are a pain to play whereas this is not.
The floyde rose is also realy good, when i bought it having heard all the horror stories about floyde roses i was amazed at how easie it was to tune. you do however hav to play around quite a bit when restringing as with all floyde roses.
now the Neck has no negatives at all. it is as thin as a wizard two neck! ( i measured it ) and with jumbo frets is one of the greatest plays i have ever had!!
Now this is where it gets sad, when i bought this beauty, be it jacksons fault or yet another problem with that damn store i bought it in there was no case. and considering the odd shape it set me back quite a bit to buy one..( not impressed)

Sound : 9
This guitar is the envy of all my guitar mates. it is a beauty when you get some heavy distortion on it but it is also great for clean ( almost more so), however it only is great with my GT8 and im sure with any setting that has some good distortion because without that it wasnt all that great on my tiny 25w peavy. this is mainly due to the stock pickups as they arent all that great.
despit this the guitar still has a huge range and sounds great, jus dont expect a fender or gibson type sound out of it.
But still, nothing can deter my unfailing love for this guitar, some say that they would buy a new one if theirs was stolen, i would make it my lifes aim to hunt down its theif and...... hurt him.....allot.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
um, when i bought this guitar it was a showcase modle ( hence the discounted price) so imnot sure what its original conditioning was like. fair enough to say it had been played around with a bit, ( damn you Rockshop ) but i have eventually got it to a setting i like.( very easy to do )

Reliability/Durability : 10
this guitar will go through it all with you ( slight exaguration ).
ok, due to its cool shape i am forever dinking it on different things.
( however the paint is not easy to damage ill give it that! ) the finish on all the equipment has not shown any sighn of rust the whole time i have had it ( 10 out of 10 ). not so shure about the electrics though....
i have replaced my strap buttons with strap locks as i did not want to test how it held up against being dropped . (because i have a leather strap and we all know how that ne goes)
i definatly can depend on it, proof being that it is at current time my only guitar as it is all i realy need... for now :)
i would gig with it as my only guitar as it is my only guitar however i would get another in case of the ever occuring Phenomina of a broken string.

Customer Support : 7
um, this is where it gets annoying.
since i bought it as a showcase modle it had already peen played a bit and the volume pot is broken ( i am not able to get to the highest level without it cutting out)
when i rung the store they told me that they would have to send it out to the jackson company to get it fixed ( another downpoint of living in New Zealand ).
all this for one little volume pot.
and living without it for the few months it would take would be catastrophic. so to this day i am uable to get full volume ( my lazyness for not fixing it myself).
i am notr sure if this is Jacksons fault or the stores.... but ill blame the store..damn you.

this of course is no reflection on the guitar....my beautiful....

Overall Rating : 10
i have been looking for another guitar to add to my collection but am constantly dissapointed with others i try.
the warrior, for its price is one of the best guitars i have ever played. everyone tells me how thin ibanez necks are but to me they might as well be fenders.
however i am looking for some replacement pickups,
and in my dreams i have a one of those new ibanez pivoting flode rose systems and a realy mean paintjob on it :)

and as another reviewer said earlier. i would go through hell for it.

2004 Jackson Warriot XT
24 frets
Gloss black with a thin clear finish
Volume,Tone,3 way selector
2 Giant double coil pickups
String-thou body
Low profile neck

Pros:
very playable neck
Decent sound
Looks nice

Cons:
Akward shape means that you have to spend $100 for useable case
Cant use 99.9% of stands

Sound : 7
It has a heavy sound which is good for hard rock/metel but dosnt suit most else.
It is noisy past about 70& volume.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
It was set up pretty good from the factory, nothing as far as compliants go.

Reliability/Durability : 3
The guitar itself is good and solid, but the finish is horrible and wears off pretty quick if your not carefull.

Customer Support : 10
Although I've heard that most have had bad experience with this, the store i got it from (Major & Minor) has the best customer support of anywhere ive ever been.

Overall Rating : 5
It is alright I guess but I would still choose a good ol' strat over it any day.

I hate string-thru bodies because you cant adjust anything and adding a bridge down the road would look ugly without more modifications then it is worth.

2005 Made in Japan
24.5 Frets
1 volume 1 tone 3 way selector
2 Duncan Design Detonator HB (HB-108) Passive of course :)
Maple Neck, Alder Body Rosewood fretboard
Floyd Rose licensed bridge , double lock
Perfect setup for the price and the music style this guitar is made. Quality wood, what else can i expect.

Sound : 9
I play from Swedish death metal to Thrash and Progressive. In home i use a 25W Ibanez amp along with a Boss GT-5 effect and a Boss Metal zone 2 (MT-2). With the stock pickups it had really (i mean REALLY) thick and fat rhythm sound (i thought i was living in a dream the first time i played it) BUT through time you'll see that you ll have to change the Detonators. I personally chose Duncan Invader for bridge and SH-2 for neck which is a very good combination in my tastes. The guitar had a bright and full sound in rhythm ,and by changing the pickups it has kickass sound in lead as well.

i m giving it a 9 (for the price the sound is great) with the detonators, and a Full 10 with the Seymour's.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Very good setup, had no probs from the start, i just had to fix the pickup height a little bit and it was fine right out of the box (made in japan ;) )

No flaws whatsoever. all the tones, and pickup selector was fine.

Reliability/Durability : 10
It will surely be great in live playing, and i cant wait for it as i have just got it back from painting it with my fav anime series and looks awesome (poser factor = 10 lol). Looks solid and didnt have any probs. the hardware is great. I can depend on it, i always use some backup, but i would go to a live without one if it comes to trust.

Customer Support : No Opinion
1 year warranty, and 1 free service from the store i bought it.never dealt with the company. cannot give a rating just for the store.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 7 years now, i own a Fender Stratocaster (Mexico) and a Ibanez RG470.
I wish i had asked many ear plugs for my neighbours hehe.
If it was stolen or lost i would definately go for another one (but i watch it like a parent and i would chase the thief even in hell)
For this price i wasnt expecting i would get a such good and quality guitar. I hate the fact that in home i am afraid that the angles will hit something and i will scratch it :). I don't like comparing one guitar to another. it is like comparing girls, you can't do that, each one has its own character. I chose to test it after seeing the specs and when i played i really liked it.
I wish it had some invaders with it lol.

If you are in a dillema, don't be. go get it.

I believe 2003 or 2004 made in Japan (got it used but like new)
The features on these are all the same.
I have the flame blue finish. It has all the basic features you would need. The hardware is ok not bad the pickups are ok not the best I have had good duncans and EMG's before so they are in a differnt class than the detonators but not bad for stock on a reasonable priced guitar. The pots are cheap (you get what you pay for) but work fine

Sound : 8
It sounds good I will mainly play with distortion on this guitar (I mean thats what it was made for anyway) and it works good for that. It seems ok as far as noise and has a good full sound. I am not big on leads with this guitar yet I think I am just not used to the bridge pickup. I might be upgrading it in the future.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Finish is awsome I love the way it looks. I bought the guitar used and I am not sure if it was ever set up professionally so I cant realy rate the factory setup. I slammed the action real low and it has minimal fret buzz so I am inpressed with that. Since I will not be playing alot of clean tones thru this I was not to picky about the fret buss. Nut is nice and low, eveything seemed lined up well. For the way I like to hold they guitar the neck seems to be a bit heavy compared to the butt. I wish it had a bit more weight in the upper fin to offset this, not a compaint more a personel preferance

Reliability/Durability : 8
It seems pretty durable but I would be careful with the sharp ends to make sure they are not damged. Both of my pots are dirty and have static. Since I bought the guitar used I not sure if they came like this from the factory or if they went bad in a short period of time. I am just going to put in some good ones and not worry about it. (Eventually you would want to do this anyway)They strap buttons are really fat so they seem to work well for being stock.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 9
I have had lots of guitars mex strat, Parker fly mojo, epi Les Paul, Ibanez cheapy and a schecter. This guitar is just different than the others I have owned and I like it for rock and distortion. It screams out 80's hairband and I think that makes it alot of fun to play! I will eventually upgrade pickups and electronics but other than that I will probably leave it alone. Good product for the money!

everything was set up well as far as i can tell, but i bought at a guitar shop and the guy adjusts all that stuff
i cant find anything wrong with it except finger prints show up well, but thats more of a personal problem

i believe this guitar can definatly survive live playing its really sturdy, all the hardwere seems as though it will last really well
finish seems very hard, but i dont recomend dropping it
strap buttons are very solid
extremely dependable
i would gig without a backup

See www.Jacksonguitars.com under the X-Series Colum,n for exact specs.

Otherwise, it a 24-fret Maple Neck w/ Rosewood Fret Board and Alder Body guitar. IT has Detonator Pickups stock and a three way switch w/ 1 tone and volume control. It could be more versatile with more knobs but it only 400 Dollars anyway!

Sound : 8
I quickly had Dimarzio Evolution humbuckers installed after a week or so. THe detontators were still quit decent. No excess feedback and they could do a nice clean to an evil bite. I rate it 8 w/ Detonators, but 10 with Evo's!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
THe Guitar was well Set-up from the factory, a little maitanance was required to get the action perfect.

Reliability/Durability : 8
Mine was made in Japan, but it's held up very well. The pots are scratchy and cut out, so they need to be replaced. I honestly depend on this guitar alot and I never gig with a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never talked directly to Jackson, but they are owned by Fender now so that kinda sucks....

Overall Rating : 9
If you want an Amazing Metal guitar this is it. It's built with quality wood and plays great. This is the best guitar in it's price range next to Ibanez. I suggest switching the pup's because Detonators are decent, but to really make your warrior kill you need some REAL Seymours or Dimarzios. IF somebody stole my Warrior I would probably have to raise the Occult on whoever did. Definently would buy another.

Features...Well amazing...This guitar was made in Japan which is much better than an American made guitar...1 volume and 1 tone, 3 way switch for the humbucking Duncan Designed pickups which sound not bad but i got them replaced with EMG 81/60 which sounds much better...Liscenced Floyd Rose Bridge which makes that guitar never go out of tune...if it goes out of tune after kicking the whammy bar's ass then check if the bridge is balanced...Extra thin neck with 24 jumbo frets...

Sound : 9
Well...I play everything from classical to metal (Thrash, Heavy, Black, Death...) It's never noisy even with the duncan designed detonators but when replaced with the EMG 81/60 the sound was much better...When playing classical the sound is really undescribable...you'll have to hear it to believe it...

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The guitar was really well made...the fit is amazing and the bridge is really well balanced and makes the guitar never go out of tune when i'm using the whammy bar (in a sick way ;) )...

Reliability/Durability : 10
I have this guitar for about a year now and it never disapointed me but it got smashed a few times on the floor so the painting went off but i used car polish and it worked...The buttons are rock solid I always used that guitar live and it never disapointed me...I always clean it and take good care of it and that's what everyone must do to keep his guitar more durable...

I play Punk-ish Death Metal-ish sounding music (least that's the feedback I get)so the Jackson Warrior XT plays well in reasonable tunings.

I play through Crate amps for modern sounds with a Morley wah for modern wah sounds.

A bit noisy, but, my sound is noisy. Mids out front. Treble resonably high.

The body is alder which I love 'case it's rich and you need that as the core when you're playing brash tunes. The rock maple neck makes notes stand out with what seems to be outstanding definition. The rosewood fretboard also keeps the raging sound anchored.

I was suprised at it's clean tone. It's not clean in the sparkly sense, but, the I'll-be-playing-a-10-second-arpeggiated-intro sense.
If you wanna peel paint and that's all, the bridge pickup is made for that. The bridge pickup in the neck position has the classic full-bodied sound. In the tradition of Jackson guitars, this axe was made to grind fast.

I simply dislike the weak-ish consrustion/components. I like the guitars transparent finish on the visually destructive body and the basic tone controls.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
I had to set the action myself for a slighty heavier gauge (10-46).
The action is high enough to play decent slide guitar.

The pickup adjustment is decent in my opinion.

There is some bridge 'clanking' and other minor flaws all around but we all know you get what you pay for.

Reliability/Durability : 7
Playing live with it is just something you have to get used to.
Going out of tune when you play hard, flick your switches, etc;, but, it definitely can be used as a main guitar.

The hardware is will last for a while ,but, if you own an overseas mde Jackson, a possible upgrading is inevitable.

The finish will last a lifetime I would imagine if properly maintained. With it's angular body, you will not be able to avoid wall dings, murders (just kidding), and other things.

I'd simply replced the strap buttons with solid locking ones. If you're playing this guitar, you're obviously moving around somewhat.

It's dependable 'cause it's a decent playing machine and above all, carries the Jackson name.

You will carry a backup !!!

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 7
I've been playing proudly (mostly) for 11 years. I own Crate Amps, Morley stuff, and another Jackson.

If it got stolen or lost it would suck but I would buy another Jackson Warrior of some sort. I love everything everything about it except the construction weaknesses that I can somewhat overlook.

My favorite feature is just the shape of it and it's tonewoods an basic contols make for this guiar player happy. It's also easy to replace strings on it which I like.

At fist I was basing on my Jacson DX10D, but, I like the Warrior just as much. I chose it because it was similar sounding to the DX10D but, had it's own powerful voice.

Anyone on a budget or looking for a very decent grinding axe in both appearance and sound, this just may be your axe. It's well balanced physically and you can crush with the best. But, don't intended on playing versitility on this one.

This is a rather new one, probably made within the last 2 years. It was made in India. It has 24 frets. Solid top. H/H config with a master volume, 3 way switch and master tone. It has a liscensed Floyd Rose and came with Duncan Designed HB104 Blade pickups. I'm pretty sure these were put in by the previous owner as I bought it off of ebay. I give it an eight because it has everything you want, but nothing you don't need.

I play death metal and this thing is right up my alley. I wanted a crazy shaped guitar, and as I already have a Randy Rhoads V, I decided to get one of these. I use this with a morley bad horsie--> keeley modded MT-2-->Boss GE-7-->Ibanez DE7--> Peavey Transtube supreme stack. I pretty much already had the tone I wanted, I just wanted this guitar, and it fits in well amongst my other Jackson, and my ESP LTD M-250. This thing sounded great, although the pickups are only Duncan Designed, they sounded clear and tight. The neck pickup cleans up well and the bridge is great for distortion. I can't comment on the stock electronics.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I got the guitar on ebay from a dealer, he put new strings and set the guitar up before he shipped it to me. So all I did was tune it and start playing. The neck has a great feel, it's right inbetween the really thin neck on my RR V, and the thicker neck of my ESP, it's very comfortable and easy to play on. The only flaw on my guitar was a chip in the clear coar near the output jack, but I purchased it on ebay and I was aware of this. The only complaint I have is that the output jack is on a weird angle, and a right angle guitar plug doesn't really fit in it.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar feels solid as a rock. The body is a little larger than I'm used to, so it feels really nice to have something like that around your neck, very sturdy. The hardware seems just as good as my other 2 import guitars, which is good. The finish is a solid color, so I'm sure theres like a million coats, so It will last. I changed the regular strap buttons for locking Dunlop ones, so I know it aint gonna fall on me. I would definetly gig with this guitar, but along with my other Jackson for sure.

Customer Support : 10
I've emailed jackson in the past with some tech questions and they got back to me very promptly.

Overall Rating : 10
I love this guitar. I wanted one for a long time and now that I got it, I'm not dissapointed. I own 1 other Jackson, and an ESP. I like them all for their purposes and this one feels like it's a winner. It's very comfortable to play sitting down, which I can't do with my RR V, and It's very balanced standing up.

this guitar is a beauty to behold. it was made in Japan and has 24 jumbo frets, two basic controls - volume and tone, 3 way selector switch, two humbuckers, etc. the shape is awesome-- kinda like a cross between a V and an explorer, but way sexier. really light and easy to use

Sound : 9
i play power and black metal, and some thrash. i really play any kind of metal except for nu metal which is totally shit in my opinion. don't waste this guitar on that crap. it is totally wicked for anything like children of bodom or iced earth, or slayer and megadeth for example. in my opinion one of the sweetest metal guitars out there.. the only problem is the stock pickups and the strings.. not the greatest. its got a great heavy sound, kind of muddy with the stock pickups (duncan detonators - ?) but if you give them a good replacement that should be fine. i put DiMarzio X2N's in mine and in my honest opinion they BRUTALLY KICK EMGS IN THE ASS you EMG freaks are all the same get better quality and output with X2Ns or Duncan Invaders.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
great polish and excellent set up. the neck is one of the best things about this guitar - it is so fast and smooth, really thin so you can really rack up some left hand speed if you have shorter fingers like mine. the fretboard is very well done - with Jackson you really don't have to worry about the frets at all. quality is excellent

Reliability/Durability : 9
this guitar can stand up to a lot of abuse - if you're not careful you could really hit it around a lot because of the unique shape. mine's still in perfect condition and i take it all over the place - the only setback about it is you have to buy a specially molded case for it which can get pretty $$$ and it's such a beast to lug around.

I've been playing for about a year now and this guitar has never let me down. i've learned quite a lot with this guitar especially since it is so easy to use. it sits perfectly on your lap, as if it was molded especially for comfort while sitting down, and standing up it balances perfectly as well. totally recommended for anyone (except you jazz and blues guys out there - and you shitty punk rockers of course you sicken me).. awesome quality and value. i only wish it didn't have a floyd rose bridge. they're a bitch to set up especially if you're doing a string change and seriously, who needs a fuckin wang bar anyways? well thats all JACKSON is the BEST and dont get EMG's use DiMarzio X2Ns or Invaders. you'll get way better quality (and the X2N is way better)

-METAL FOR LIFE-
(real metal not nu-metal or any of that shit)
ps- mudvayne is really gay

Made in Japan. 2003. 24 frets. Alder body with quilted top, Bolt-On Rock Maple neck, and Rosewood Fretboard. One volume and one tone knob with a three way toggle.I installed two EMG active pickups (Didn't like the Duncan Detonators too much). EMG 81 in the bridge and EMG 85 in the neck. Floyd low profile bridge and locking nut.

Sound : 10
I play mostly speed thrash death metal type music and this guitar is perfect for that. Running it through a 4X12 Peavey cabinet with Sheffield speakers that are being pushed by a Peavey Classic 120/120 PA bridged (240 Watts). Peavey Rockmaster pre and an Alesis Micro Verb 4. It sounds KILLER. (period)

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The guitar came from the factory setup for nines. I re-adjusted the guitar for tens. The action is great. The stock pickups weren't very good. The stock strings were worse... whatever. Everything else was good.

Reliability/Durability : 10
It's a Jackson. I'm sure I will get many good years out of it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Don't know. Haven't needed it yet.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for over 10 years now. I think this guitar is great. If it were stolen or lost I would definitely buy another one. I don't think that I could have gotten a better guitar for the price.

Ok,this one is made in Japan.
It comes with 24 jumbo frets.
Has a volume amd tone control,3-way selector
Duncan Designed Humbuckers ,two of them.I personally don't like them too much.
Body wood:Poplar with Flame Maple Veneer
Neck wood:Bolt-On Rock Maple
Finish:transparent black
body style?what do i say?X-shaped body.
Floyd rose bridge,Die cast tuners.
Thin Rosewood fretboard.
Yea,got a case with me,though it was Kelly case,but still ...

Sound : 9
Suits well to my music styles,Pop/rock and Death/black/melodic metal
I am using a Marshall Valvestate 65r
Is noisy,BUT JUST BECAUSE THE AMP WAS USED WHEN I BOUGHT IT,AND I PLAY NEAR THE COMPUTER.(yea yea,you shouldn't play near the computer)
I really like the sound, but it could be better. It is just that I don't like Duncan designed pickups.
Makes deadly pinch harmonics,like them.
Overall I like the sound but it's not perfect to my ear...

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The guitar was well adjusted,I can't complain.
Everything was fine.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I think this guitar will last good.
The hardware seems it lasts.
The finish is great, though it has NOW fingerprints all over the body ;)
I depend on it
I have used in many gigs without a backup.I have never had a backup.

I have been playing for a year with my warrior now,and I own a buxom guitar(it's falling apart ;D ) and then ofcourse Marshall valvestate 65r amp.
Well if this one was stolen or lost,I would buy this again.
I love the looks of this guitar(very scary, hehe),the thin neck,I love the playability-feeling and the sound, though not too much.
I did hate the floyd rose-bridge,but now I'm used to it :)
My favourite feature is the pinch harmonic
I did compare this one with a dinky ''something'' and with Kelly 3,I liked the Kelly too,but Warrior XT was a better choice to my wallet :)
I just wish it had EMG pickups, then would only adore the sound.

I'd like to say that buy this beauty, change the pickups and buy ENGL tubescream, then this will rock like a hurricane.
