Mine is a natural/honey colored JT-139... look to previous post for all of the specs. Also, please notice that it has a set of dog-ear P-90's for pickups.. meaning that if you wish to replace them - it is not easy unless you go after another set of dog-ears...

Sound : 9
When I bought it I found the sound a bit lacking (a bit thin and distant for me). I did not get any noise from the pickups (not like my strat had done). I am using it with a Roland Cube 30x. I did purchase a set of "dog eared" spacers (e-bay - $ 20.00) which rasied the pickups closer to the strings (the stock guitar has a large distance). This really helps liven the guitar up quite a bit and the P-90's become much more responsive - and has made me like this guitar much, much more. My rating is for how it sounds with the spacers.. without it would not be positive...

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The guitar was set up well at the factor. Action is nice and medium (not too high, not too low)... the fit and finish is great. Tuners are smooth and hold... rest of the hardware looks real nice. Overall a very hansom guitar.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I have only had it for a month now although, so far, so good. Everything looks very solid and it appears to be very dependable. I did buy a hard case for it (it fits in an ephi dot case). I figured this was cheap insurance.

have not dealt with them at all... bought it through e-bay

Overall Rating : 9
This is my only hollow-body. I do have a strat and an ephi les paul. My goal in buying the hollowbody was to have a guitar that sounded completely different than the other two (which this one does). It is not as cutting and twangy as my strat and not as booming and overpowering as my les paul (Ace Frehley model)... so, a nice, sublime guitar which provides a good, mellow, pure guitar sound. I would buy it again if given the chance.

By now, you know the features this guitar has. Mine is a 2007 model, natural finish, deep body. No special features.

Sound : 9
Sounded very good with stock pups, but replaced with Jayson Lollar P-90s. Now it sounds awesome!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Only flaw I could find was a light black thumb print below the laquer, on the back, near the bottom. However, the guitar was not released as a 2nd. Neck is great, as is the rest of the guitar's overall construction quality, and apearence.

Reliability/Durability : 8
Seems very solid, and well constructed. However, QA/QC should have caught the thumb print on the guitar's back.

not dealt with them

Overall Rating : 8
Great guitar for the money. Replacing the pickups really improved it's sound immensley.

Neck is surprisingly nice in my hands ...solid, smooth..not too wide nor too narrow. Mine has a Bisby authorized tailpiece that works extremely well and allows nice effect for guitar's sound.

I like the pickups and sounds they produce.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion

Reliability/Durability : 8
Don't know about reliabilty because have had it only one month.

I'm running everything through a digitech GNX4 straight into a mackie 350 speaker.....The guitar sounds awesome for my purposes, but these pick-ups are extremely noisy. The specs say semi-hollow but its' really a full hollow body. I think there is a small support block in there somewhere, so somehow it's listed as a semi.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
From a few feet away, this guitar looks amazing. Get any closer and there are too many flaws to mention. I searched for a review of the 2006 models before purchasing but couldn't find anything. I heard the new Jay Turser models were upgraded with better everything. Maybe so, but sloppy workmanship.Never the less, I really like this guitar. My new Gretsch Anniversary wasn't perfect, and I was way more upset about those flaws since the price tag was 5 times the price of the Turser!

Reliability/Durability : 9
It seems very solid. I haven't used it on any gigs yet but I am planning to..I always have a back-up, and If for some reason I only take one guitar to a show, it will be something more hi-end.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing 30 years. I own alot of hi end guitars as well as a few cheaper Korean..For some reason I am much more into my low end guitars right now. I really like this JT 139. It has more flaws than another other guitar I've ever owned, (and it's not suppose to be B stock)but it will be my new favorite for a while unless it craps out at a gig
