This is more of a review retraction. I played this guitar 4 times, put it in a hardshell and took it out a week later to find the neck bowed!!!! I'm not talking about a truss rod adjustment, I mean bowed! It's pretty to look at, but after talking to Jay Turser in NY, I found that this is an inherent problem with this guitar.

Sound : 5
For the price, the sound was ok.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 1
Until the neck bowed, I would've given a 10 here, but obviously not now.

Reliability/Durability : 1
I wouldn't buy one for anyone I thought I even remotely liked.

Customer Support : 5
Thank heavens for the warranty. Turser is painfully slow, but easy to deal with. I went for a Les Paul knockoff when I found out about the inherent neck problems. An RMA with Turser is about a 3 week turnaround. (They have to see what you did to it.) I'm assured that this is usually a one day process, but they're moving their warehouse. Wouldn't that motivate them to ship everything they possibly can as fast as they possibly can? I'm expecting this RMA in a week. I'll follow up here on how it went.

I'm a 55 year old player that's been playing since I was 9 years old. I have Strats and LP's, for the most part and one SG. If this were stolen, I'd replace it with a Rogue from Musician's Friend before I'd buy another one of these!!

i bout this guitar new, this guitar is a peace of junk it looks nice but it has a very thick Polly finish ,and the tone of the wood of this guitar is dead the neck feels fine, but i think the body is made of pine, played the guitar for a week the input jack lost its spring and would not hold a plug, the selector switch fell apart nasty sounding ceramic pickups, and two of the knobs fell off and will not stay on

Sound : 3
very bright with over muddle middle relay horrible tone

Action, Fit, & Finish : 3
Evey thing for what it is looks ok the pots are real cheep, the guitar plays nice it just relay sounds like junk and has the cheapest hard ware i ever seen, the epiphone guitars have cheapo hard ware, so in comparison the epiphone hard ware is 100 time better then the junk on this guitar

Reliability/Durability : 4
this guitar may not withstand live playing. i am sure the finish of this guitar( mine is black )it seams very Durable its a very thick poly finish on what i believe to be a pine body. i have Sean lots of lp copy's made in china that are very good workmanship .the Jay Turser JT-200/PRO/CS is the worst i ever seen ,would be a great guitar for a beginner, and think that it would be superb for the kid just learning guitar, but under stand i am review this guitar from a professorial standpoint as a tool of the trade.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Sunburst set neck beauty purchased from Butler Music in Butler, MO. through eBay. Les Paul double cutaway Jr. clone with two nice humbuckers. For $200, I hoped for a nice backup axe. What I received is now my main axe!! I've been playing for 45 years and have owned dozens of guitars of all makes and models. My all time fave was an SG Pro that was stolen in the late 60's. This girl comes very close! The intonation was dead on right out of the box!! Great tuners that you usually find only on guitars costing 5 times this much money. I'm one happy camper!

Sound : 10
The sound is as good as any Gibson priced under a grand.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Set up beautifully!

Reliability/Durability : 10
This will be my main axe. It's built like guitars were built in the 60's. Uncanny similarities. The only reason I'll have a backup is because I also play a Strat for some genres.
