The guitar has "tons of features" as you can see from the genreal description here. However, 1 pickup, a volume and tone knob with a 3-way switch is definitely just a few features. Simple is beautiful.
Now, here is the fun part. Jeff can "relic" a fine guitar that he just built as good as or better than anyone in the luthier business. Whether you are a fan of this relic concept or not, all you have to do is visit the website . . . or better yet, to actually hold this sexy and try it visually to

Have you ever played a vintage '52 Fender Esquire? I never had, but when I was a kid I saw Jeff Beck ala' Yardbirds making glorious music with one and now, 40 years later, I still don't have one :-P But....I have something just as precious -- Jeff Senn's recreation/homage of/to this classic guitar.
My amps???? 1936 Webster Electric (formerly the PA system in a theatre), 1946 Stromberg Carlson AU-33, Vox AC-50, Red Bear MK-120 Lead, mostly run through a 2x15 Cab with Vintage JBL speakers.
The Pomona is like the essence of everything that was good about the early electric guitar. I'm a hack, but it makes me sound good. Imagine what it sounds like in the hands of true musician like it's creator, Jeff Senn, or maybe you. What does a 3-way switch do on 1 pickup anyway? Well, it shifts the signal through a capacitor for a dark to bright tone shift. The Lollar Special Design single pole pickup is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! POWERFUL!!!!!! subtle . . .discreet. I don't want to even mention the word "TWANG". . . a rubber band twangs. This guitar sings!

Flawless, exact, not a sign anywhere on this guitar of Jeff taking a short-cut just to sell another guitar. Highest quality of workmanship. Check it out! It's on the homepage of Jeff Senn Guitars website as of this writing.

Nothing "Unreliable" or "Lacking in Stamina" about any Senn creation that I can see and I've been playing nearly 40 years. Certainly this particular guitar is as reliable as any of the finer instruments that I have had the pleasure of owning or playing in my time.

Jeff Senn is a busy man these days, but he would never stiff one of his customers or refuse to stand behind his work. Absolutely.
