Features : 10
Completely stock, single cutaway, 3 lipstick pickups, "danelectro" style guitar, but the comparison ends there. I don't like guitars with too many bells & whistles, but I do think that it has all the features it needs, and the features it has are second to none in terms of craftmanship

Sound : 10
There is a five-way pickup selector that works like a strat's, but the tone is much fatter and fuller than a strat, thanks to the lipstick p/u's and hollow body. A really great sounding guitar, especially perfect for gigs where someone wants something different than a traditional Fender or Gibson sound. I tend to use it with Mesa amps and Fulltone & Line 6 effects, many times with no effects at all. Positions 2 & 4 on the pickup selector are noise-cancelling, 1, 3 & 5 have the typical single coil hum but it is pretty quiet for a single coil guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I bought this used so I can't credit or fault the company for set up, but it did actually come set up pretty well. No construction flaws at all, the fret work is excellent, the level of craftmanship is very high.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I bought this guitar sight unseen on the HC classifieds and was very pleasantly surprised at what a great guitar it was. I soon found myself bringing it to every gig I could manage. It has become one of my first-choice guitars, and will definitely be a life-long keeper.

Customer Support : 10
The only contact I had with them was when I got it, I opened up the p/u cavity and found a loose wire. I called them and Jerry answered the phone. He told me what it was (a loose ground wire), told me where to solder it, and was very pleasant to deal with. I feel I can't really fault him for the loose wire since it was used.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for over 30 years and play professionally. I know I have put 10's on every category here, but I wouldn't be spending my time doing this if I weren't completely knocked out by this guitar. I have spent the last year putting this guitar through the paces on gigs & recordings and it's been really great. When you consider that these guitars can easily be had for under a grand, I think they're probably the best deal in American made, professional quality instruments around. I have since bought one of their Master Sitars and so far am equally impressed.
