I have been playing guitars since I was 8, I am now 45. I have never played a better feeling guitar, bar none! American made in Nashville Tenn. Black with white stucco like binding. Clear rectangular pick guard. This could be a little wider, or ride back bit further, seems like is is a bit more for show than funtionality, but it suffices. The neck is thin like a strat and Smoothe>>>>>>> Extremely comfortable and light. Very light. Lipstick pick ups.

I play it clean with no effects through a Fender deluxe reverb. If you are a professional and play out, or just like to twang it on the weekends this is for you! Plays smoothe! efforless playing!! you can stretch the strings or just strum, or jam/crunch on it. I have tried everything. More along th lines of a telecaster/ strat, but it has it's unique tone as well.

a couple of finish flaws here or ther but nothing major. I bought it used, but I don't think it was played much at all. It was near mint. Action superb! plenty of wiggle room to set as you please.

I have bought and sold many guitars in the past, This one is a keeper, and I am sure I will have it for many years to come! I simply love this guitar. You could without question, use it on a gig with no back up. Trust me on this!!

I have owned a Yamaha SG 2000, fender guitars , Les pauls . Knock off guitars etc.. Let me tell you .... This guitar beats them all. These people build them with care and I must point something out. I have been unable to get it out of Tune!!!! I have stretched the strings strummed to Zepplin, who, Neil Young, I can only get like one string out of tune slightly. Unbelievable!. If you can pick one up you will see. I really appreciate good work and I want all to know. I never heard of Jerry Jones till a friend came up from Nashville with one and I bought it.

Made with skill in Nashville, TN. Form follows function here: Red masonite/wood sandwich construction w/ hollow cavities for accoustics. 2 JJ lipstick single-coli pickups w/ nickel covers & him cancelling electronics. Master vol & tone knobs. 3-way p/u selector. Stucco-like edge binding. Clear plexi pick guard. Painted neck. Rosewood fretboard w/ nice frets & dot inlays. Neptune bridge (tune-o-matic) Very nice OHSC. I'd like this to have independent vol & tone knobs, but they adhere to the classic design.
*** Though the features here are like the dano-reissues, there is no comparison between the two in craftsmanship, sound, or playing aesthetic. A totally different animal.

SOunds very Tele-thinline like, but has a sound of its own. Accoustics of the heavy strings really sound great due to semi-hollow construction, and perhaps the masonite. Many great single-coil sounds can be found w/ this guitar, and the pickups are the finest lipsticks I've ever heard. The bridge is twangy and the neck is throaty, and I prefer the two as a duet for a general-purpose sound.

Perfect in all respects. Set-up with true care at the factory, and has retained its form through the years. The sides tend to hold dirt, but they are fery tough binding, nothing like the tape on the Dano reissues. The finish is shiny and thick, but not glassy and plastic-like in feel. Neck is amazing: thin and fast. The action is lowlowlow, and the guitar sustains very well. Frets are perfect (thin and precise), and a bit on the high side, which I like. Electronics are quiet, smooth and responsive. Neptune bridge is very precise and easy to adjust. Intonation is perfect 1st time out of the case.

Not as bulletproof as a Les Paul, due to the light materials, but 10X more solid than the old or new Danos. The best of its breed. Nothing wrong after 3 yrs of heavy use, and shows no signs of fatigue. Truly a sturdy USA made guitar.
My rating is relative to other guitars of this construction scheme.

A truly unique sounding contemporary guitar with a traditional look & feel. Many, many great tones, and it feels superb to play. Sits very comfortably and neck access is great. Theres not a cooler USA made guitar on the market these days in this price range.
