Made in 2005, in Canada by luthier Jesse Brace. This is a non cutaway double 0 with a sitka spruce so;id top and solid Mahogany back and sides bound in flamed maple. the neck is also Mahogany. The rosewood fingerboard is also bound in maple. It has mini Gotoh tuners and 12 frets to the body. It came in a new Gator case. A plain and simple beautifully finished guitar, no special features.

The small double 0 body is ideal for just sitting around and playing anything, the volume tone and bass are incredible for a small guitar, it has very clear voice. I prefer the sound to any of my other guitars, (Eastman,Gitane Babicz Martin) Jesse is ex Larivee and started Legend guitars with two other luthiers, and the guitar has similarities in sound

Superb finishing on this guitar adjusted perfectly and intonation spot on. Simple materials and fine workmanship

The guitar is well built and I expect it to last many years. The finish is a hard lacquer and will wear well, I would use it without a backup without hesitation.

Jesse is local and very helpful, he is currently adjusting another guitar I had made to my specs with a new bridge for a higher action( Django gypsy guitar)

I have been playing for 40 years and have had many guitars in that time. This is one of my favourites. It is close to classical size and its sound is warm. Next time I would ask for a cutaway, But look at the price for a handbuilt guitar and case, nothing approaches it for value. Jesse company Legend was well known for its quality work.
