Acoustic / Electric, Dreadnought body. Black color. Rosewood neck, and 1 Active pickup that requires a 9 volt battery to operate. It has an EQ that allows for treble boost/cut, bass, midrange, and prescence, and a volume knob on the EQ.

Well, sound is what really counts. I've put a decent set of Martin Strings on this and although it sounded quite nice for awhile; after a bit it began to hum. When using a Capo it hums very noticably. Although the die cast sealed machine head tuning screws look sturdy... this doesn't always stay in tune. It's passable, though.
I suppose for the money it's been played enough, and I'll probably continue to fool around with it from time to time.
It ain't no strat when plugged in. But it has it's moments... when playing acoustic/electric with a digital delay pedal it does sounds pretty nice, because the natural resonance of the acoustic body gets picked up by the delay. However, that just means that Boss makes a sweet pedal.
Also I can't play above fret 14. Why? It used to play fine above that fret, but now it doesn't. I suspect the wood wasn't given enough time to dry before they made it into a guitar, and now the neck is slightly warped. Either that or I bent the neck when playing it. End result: can't play anything above the 14th fret. From there up, it's all the same note. Good thing I only use play that high in on a few songs, but it is pretty damn frustrating. Time to get out the steel wool and file those suckers down...

I don't think they set this up very well. The neck hums. Sound is a bit dull, and could be brighter. Maybe it just needs a truss rod adjustment. The pickup is pretty decent, I'll say that. Regardless, it has a good finish, and playability is better than other crap I've tried.

It sure LOOKS solid, but something rattles...

The phone call to China would cost me more than the guitar's value and the guy who sold it to me on Ebay has probably fled the country.

4 years. I also have a big apple strat, a fat strat, and a les paul knockoff. a few peddles and an Ibanez 25 watt amp.
I liked this model because it was cheap. But all things considered, you get what you pay for. It has brought me joy, but is becoming unplayable with the hum and fret problems. I give it a 5 for sentimental value.
