THE FOLLOWING RATINGS ARE BASED ON MY $75 (LESS SHIPPING) JOHNSON JG-610 B(LACK) GUITAR BUILT IN CHINA IN 2003. This guitar is pretty standard for an acoustic. It came with Martin strings, though, which were nice. It has no electronics, though I believe Johnson offers similar models for use with amplifiers. The nut and saddle are of a functional but cheap plastic. The wood is described on their website as white wood and nato which I believe is consistent with the woods used in my year of guitar. The guitar came with only one strap button, so your choice of straps are limited unless you install another button. My guitar came with a gig bag and a strap.

Sound : 9
This is the one area in which I believe this guitar easily squashes its "you get what you pay for" stereotype. I also have a $365 Alvarez that I don't believe sounds nearly as nice as this guitar. Again, it's a $75 guitar, but I very much enjoy the sound I get from it even though its not made from premium woods.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
The action on this guitar was pretty high when I got it, and I didn't know at first how to adjust it so I built up calluses pretty quickly. Definitely not 'unplayable', but you should learn about guitar adjustment and set-up if you get one as high as mine was. The pickguard had some small speck of something underneath of it when it was affixed causing a noticeable bump. The fit and finish, though obviously not perfect, is acceptable when compared with the cost of the guitar, however.

Reliability/Durability : 8
The finish on this guitar is very thick (a little too thick actually) but very durable. I had no real problems with this guitar (despite horribly low winter humidity conditions in my house) until in early 2008 when the bridge cracked on me and which oddly leads me to the second big thing I like about this guitar. (Incidentally, my bridge appears to have been made out of some sort of painted cheap wood, maybe nato?. I notice that Johnson now says they are made from rosewood.) I bought it not knowing much of anything about playing / working on a guitar. When the bridge cracked, I jumped right into fixing it myself as it was hardly worth taking it to a professional luthier to have it done. The experience was one of the most fun and enjoyable things I have done recently. I ended up replacing the mother of pearl fretboard inlays and side dots with abalone, I replaced the pickguard with an Abalam one, installed an ebony bridge and ebony bridge pins with abalone inlays, replaced the nut and saddle with ones that I made from unbleached bone blanks (which helped clear up the high action problems), and installed a Plate Mate as the strings had caused some wear to the bridge plate from 5 years of playing. Again, only the bridge and maybe the plate mate needed to be done, but I was having so much fun, I kept right on trucking...

No opinion as I never had need to use them.

Overall Rating : 9
Again, the ratings in this review are based on a guitar which cost me about $75 (less shipping) in 2003. I purchased this guitar as a beginner and based on these reviews on Harmony Central. I enjoy checking back in on them from time to time just to get a feel for other people's experiences. I felt the need to submit my own review after reading some of the, how should I put this, "less than helpful reviews" from alleged famed or professional guitarists with numerous gajillion dollar guitars that are obviously basing their review of this guitar in comparison to those guitars. A Ramirez this guitar is not, but it is a perfect guitar to learn on and particularly a good guitar to learn to adjust and fix. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

This guitar is pretty plain. I payed 70$$$ for it brand new from the music shop and it was purchased with the intent on being a "beater" guitar for playing around campfires and whatnot. Have no idea what kind of wood it is but the blue paint is kinda neat, although very cheaply done. The stock tuners on it are quite inadequate and it's plain to see the craftsmanship is really shotty. But hey, for 70$, what can I say?? Like stated in another review, this is in the 1-80$ price range for acoustic guitars and may ratings are bases inside that range.

Sound : 9
The sound fits my style like a glove. I'm into some open tunings and this thing IMO does great with their sound. This guitar has a deeper and more bass ridden sound then alot of acoustics in this price range. Not once have I noticed the irritating "twangy" sound that accompanies the cheapest of cheap guitars. I am very impressed with the sound of this guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
Action seemed good when I first purchased it in June 2005. There was obvious noticable flaws in the guitar when it was brand new but the 70$ price tag had me saying "No Worries" to the little flaws. This was going to be my beater guitar and was a perfect candidate for the position.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Well, this guitar has survived alot me me since purchased a little over 6 months ago. It has been subjected to temperature extremes ranging from 110 degrees for countless hours all the way to 0 degrees for awhile. It survived with me living on the streets and it had no case(could not afford one sad to say) but it is still enduring with me now nestled in a nice toasty home.
Only one thing is messing up that has me a little concerned and that is that the fretboard is starting to seperate from the neck at around the 18-20 fret mark. Nothing serious yet but might escalate as time passes.

Customer Support : No Opinion
This subject never really applies to me with any guitar I purchase.

Overall Rating : 10
I been playing for around 12 years and have owned over 10 electric guitars and built a Telecaster copy. This Johnson acoustic is the 1st acoustic guitar that I've actually owned but probably the 100th that I've played (100, that's a really rough estimate).

Overall, I am very impressed and satisfied with the performance and sound quality of this guitar. Before purchasing this Johnson I really did have a negative sterotypical view of Johnsons as a really cheap and horrible sounding piece of equipment. As I would look at a Johnson in a music store or online, I had degrading thoughts run through my head about playing something with that low of a price tag. I would think, "Well what's the use of picking it up and playing it, it will just sound and play like crap so it's not worth the hassel." A very unaccurate and close-minded perception of something I had never tried was what stopped me from enjoying quality for a lot less quantity.
Since the day I purchased that Johnson back in June 2005, I have been bragging to everbody how I got a guitar for that cheap but with such high quality. I now stand up for the name "Johnson" because for 70$, trust me, you could find more than a thousand guitars with not even 3/4 of the quality and good sound as this one holds to it's name. GO JOHNSON!!!

This is a cheap imported guitar obviously made by children in sweat shops in China. It probably has the worst finish of any guitar that I've picked up in the 40 years that I've been playing and giging.

The top, back and side woods appear to be some kind of reconstituted wood that reminds me of how they make really cheap chicken nuggets. There are missed and oversprayed areas...quite the workmanship...NOT!!! Why anyone would waste a perfectly good swamp tree to assemble a piece of crap like this is completely beyond me.

Sound : 1
This guitar refuses to stay in tune for more than a few chords. There is no resonance to speak of and it sounds flat and uninteresting. The harmonics are way off on the 12th fret and any playing above the 5th fret is downright painful. This guitar sounds like crap but it serves it's purpose as listed below.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 1
I've seen guitars that have spent 40 years in a hot, dry attic that have better setup that these. The fit and finish are a complete joke. There are flaws everywhere and tons of sharp edges that can cut your hands. Never...but never slide your hands on these.

Reliability/Durability : 1
This guitar works perfectly on stage. I use them as a comedy bit when I gig. If you tune it up two whole notes and hit a B7 really hard, the saddle lifts from the soundboard and the guitar literally crumbles in your hands with a large TWOING!! I've done this with 5 or 6 of them so far and have never failed to get a huge laugh as I stand there looking totally bewildered and shocked. The great thing about these guitars is after you've blown the saddle off, you can glue it back on and string it back up loosely. Then you can use a second time as a stage prop to accidently knock off the stand and stumbling when picking it up, step on it, crushing it into powder. I even got luck once with a little hottie that I gave the remains to one night.

In all fairness though, any guitar will break if you step on it so in this respect, it can say that this guitar is as good as any that I own.

Customer Support : 1
I think that they'd probably refuse warranty if I told them how I used them. Fixing these would not be viable. It would probably be cheaper and easier to just send another if you could ever find the manufacturer.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I've been playing for about 40 years. I own a Larrivee C10E, a blue Taylor 614CE, a 1998 Taylor 914BCE (Cindy Inlay with Brazillian), A Breedlove Northwest Classic, a Steve Klien Grand Mission (incredible guitar) and a custom National Style O. My electrics are a Strat Plus, a Les Paul Goldtop and a PRS McCarty. I play these through either my SWR California Blonde (acoustic) or my 1971 Fender Twin through varios pedals and a BBE 462.

Do yourself a favour...if you want to learn to play the guitar, spend some decent money and buy a real one. For $300 - $500.00, you can get an instrument that will inspire you to play more and enjoy the process. These pieces of junk should be kept as stage props only.

Handcrafted by 10 year old kids in China, Dreadnought style, the rest of the features are already mentioned. Comes with Gigbag, tuners, etc. Not especially good, but does the job, doesn't look bad at all. Hey, what do you expect for 70 bucks guitar.

BTW: ALL THE RATINGS I GAVE FOR THIS GUITAR IS IN RESPECT WITH IT'S PRICE, WHICH MEANS EVERYTHING IS THAT GOOD FOR A 70 BUCKS GUITAR.

Sound : 10
It has a quite balanced tone, not very bright tho. I used it mainly for practice at night, couldn't use my electric, too noisy.

What kind of sounds can the guitar make? Uh, acoustic guitar sounds.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Very high action, that's good in some ways, good finger training, everything else seems to be in place.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Again I'm using it for practice, would never gig with it.

Great guitar for it's price. Alot of better sounding guitars out there (duh), but for this price, this one could be the best.

Made in china with 20 frets.

No elctronics.

Not sure what type of wood its made of. But has a decent black finish, with white binding.

Came with gig bag.

But I give a 7 here for price range that this guitar is in.

Sound : 8
Once again for the price range I have to give this guitar and 8 as far as sound goes.

This is a beginers guitar, with intermediate player sounds. It is surprising how good it sounds for a hundred bucks.

Although there is a little fret buzz around the 13th fret.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
The action is a little too high for my taste, but I have played on worse. considering the price, its actually better than I expected. A beginer should really have no trouble playing on this guitar at all.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I have had this guitar for two years and it has seen its share of abuse no doubt, but it has held up extremely well. The finish is still in very good shape, no cracks in the body at all. Seems pretty tough.

Seems pretty dependable.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never dealy with them at all...

Overall Rating : 8
I have been playing for about 6 years, and I have seen my share of guitars, but this is one of the best cheap guitars I have ever seen. I bought this guitar because another acoustic I had got lost, and I didn't have much cash. I bought this guitar expecting a piece of junk, But all in all Its exceeded my expectations. BY FAR.

If it was stolen, Yeah I think i would buy another, but this time I would get the model with the onboard electronics.

The basic design of it is pretty much the standard acoustic guitar. I opted for the black finish which is pretty decent considering how little I paid for the guitar (only about $90 after shipping). It came equipped with Martin steel strings. It is made out of a pretty cheap wood, but still sounds pretty good.

Sound : 9
I must admit I was skeptical when I first ordered this guitar, simply because I am a beginner and I wasn't sure if it would sound good. As it turned out I am very pleased with how it sounds. It has a bright sound, no real dead notes or anything like that, and minimal buzzing.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
The action by more advanced guitar players standards is probably too high from the factory. But for a beginner like myself it is really helping me to learn because it forces me to put enough pressure on the guitar to produce a decent sound. I'm sure its something that could be adjusted for 20 dollars or so.

Reliability/Durability : 8
I think based on the way the guitar feels it is a very reliable guitar. The hardware looks like it will last most everything and the body isn't so weak as to fall apart in your hands. I don't know that I would use it without a backup (but who plays without a backup anyway?). Keep in my mind this is an 80 dollar guitar!

Customer Support : No Opinion
I haven't had to deal with them, hope I never have to.

Overall Rating : 10
I think if you are looking for a good beginners guitar this is definently the guitar to buy. It doesn't have the cheap sound of a beginners guitar but it is definently priced as one. If I lost this guitar I would definently buy another one. At some point I hope to be able to upgrade to something more top notch when I become more experienced. But if you are looking for solely a good value and good guitar to learn on a Johnson fits the job just fine.

Features : 8
The features are pretty basic. It's made from white woods which when I asked they told me that it's usually birch. The tone was quite a bit more than what I expected to get out of a $79.00 guitar. Definitely not as good as my Fender, but I paid over $500 for that. Musicians Storehouse threw in a case, strap, tuner and picks for $20 more. I'd say that for $79 I'd have to rate the features at a 8.

Sound : 9
The guitar has a suprisingly good tone. It's not a solid top guitar so it's not extremely bright, but once again, much better than I expected. I've played quite a few other guitars that were under $150 that I thought had a cheap chinsey sound. This guitar doesn't sound cheap at all.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Once again, the action is not perfect, but is much better than I expected for $79.00. I expected it to be in the higher range but it's in the medium range. I haven't tried adjusting it yet but I'm sure that would help to get it down even a little lower, but I'm totally content with where it's at. It's much better than any of the first few guitars I started on.

The guitar is really good looking. The finish is nice, but if you look closely you can find small blemishes. I found a couple of white glue marks right where the neck attaches to the body, hardly noticeable, but you wouldn't find that on a $300 guitar. If you look at the soundhole you can see some slight blemishes in the finish, but again, you really have to put it under the microscope. If you're looking for a cosmetically perfect guitar, this is not the guitar for you. I could personally care less about whether or not it looks perfect under the microscope. We're not talking about collectors items. Really good finish for $79 though.

Reliability/Durability : 8
I've had this guitar for 6 months now and it still plays just as good. It doesn't seem like it's going to hold up forever but that's not what I bought it for anyway. I would definitely take this as a backup guitar for gigs.

Customer Support : 10
MusiciansStorehouse.com was really cool to deal with. I went with them initially because they offer free shipping, but they were way more customer friendly than any other internet company I've dealt with before. I called them and they told me all the pros and cons of this guitar before I placed the order which I thought was pretty cool. I'm sure they'd be cool if I had a problem. I would honestly recommend them to anyone.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing a little over 15 years and I know guitars really well. This is certainly not one of the best guitars I've ever played, but I'm still honestly shocked by how good it is for $79. When I started playing it costed $250 to get a guitar this good. I'm really impressed with this guitar and this is the cheapest one in the Johnson line, so I'm going to try some of the better models in the Johnson line before I buy anything else. I could care less what name brand the guitar is as long as it sounds good and plays good.

Features : 7

Made in China, blueburst finish, came with bag and a few accessories. I also bought a 3/4 size, no bag or accessories.

Sound : 8
I'm a beginning player so I bought these guitars (one for me, one for my son) to try out playing before buying some "good quality" instruments. The sound on the full size is surprisingly good, while the guitar lasted (see reliability). The 3/4 size sounded uneven to begin with and needed tuning often. The 6E string is especially difficult to keep in tune. (8 for full size, 3 for 3/4 size)

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
The action on both guitars was terribly high. I had to cut down the saddle on both, and the 3/4 is still too high. The finish is uneven, with several paint "drops" overall. Decent enough for the price, though.

Reliability/Durability : 1
Durable? NO! The head/neck on the full size warped after just three months of playing. The neck on the 3/4 size is starting to come off now after 6 months, and will be unplayable within two more months.

Customer Support : 8
I bought these on eBay from music-brokers. Their staff was helpful and deliveries were quick, but they charge $25 shipping for replacement. I replaced the full size under the warranty, but since the cost is about $45 round-trip to replace these pieces of junk, it's not worth it to replace the 3/4 or replace the full size WHEN it breaks down again.

Overall Rating : 2

This is my first guitar. I bought a cheap one since I wasn't sure if, or how long I would want to play, but I am very sorry I bought these. Even though they are low priced, it's not worth it, it's just a matter of time (a very short time) before you'll be throwing them out. Save your money and buy something better. You'll be glad you did.

This guitar was made in 2002 in Japan. It features a laminated top, and the finish on this guitar is outstanding for the price. I am very impressed with this guitar. I bought it for my son as a gift, and he loves it. I have been playing for over thirty years now, and have played them all! And I have never played a guitar that looks as good, or sounds as rich as this guitar for the price. So if you are on a budget, you need to look into this great guitar. And to those of you who try to tear this guitar and manufacturer apart, please remember, you only payed about $100 for it, and I dont think you can beat the overall sound quality and finish for that price.

Sound : 10
The sound in bright and punchy close to the bridge, and warm and full of tone as you move to the sound hole.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The action is a little high, but was easily fixed. There were no flaws, the bridge was put on with care, all in all very pleased.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I have played eight gigs with three songs in the set that I use this guitar, and get compliments on it every time I use it. It has held up very well. I am going to buy one for me!

Customer Support : 10
I was treated with VIP treatment with (fleasale.com) they were quick to respond, and helped me with every concern I had. They are cool guys over there, I would recommend them to everyone! The website is very cool as well!

First and foremost, I would like to to suggest to all those wanna be guitar players or already established one, never get fooled by cheap price. I went for the price and this is what I got, Jhonson JG-610-B. After all what do you expect from duplication capital of the world, China. Appearance looks quite nice and that what fooled me. Even the sound wasn't that bad. But after about a year of playing I experienced a degrade in sound, including some total dead sound in some frets. Later on I noticed a crack in the back of the guitar and now I even don't wanna play this guitar. You can find this guitar in the dumster by my house. My rating for this piece of crap would be
in far more negative than expected by the f@#king manufactures.

As said, it just sets you up before you buy, but never judge a book by its cover.

I don't think this guitar deserves any comment on this one. It just sucks !!!

Features : 4
Made in China, this all laminate wood guitar is pretty barebones. The finish is glossy black, which looks just like plastic, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it is. No electronics on this one, but I guess you could have pickup installed if you really wanted. The tuners on this guitar are not very good at all. They get the job done, but you'll find yourself tuning the guitar more frequently than is neccessary. All in all, the "features" this guitar boasts are directly related to its extremely cheap price tag. But, at least it doesn't look like crap.

Sound : 7
Well, the sound is pretty well balanced on this guitar, but nothing really stands out. Tone is muffled across the board, and it seems that fretted notes are noticably softer than open ones, especially fretted bass notes. Overall I would say this guitar has more low end than high end, but the sound is very empty. Pound on the strings and you might get a little volume. Otherwise, be ready for a quiet guitar. Nevertheless, the sound is pleasing to me if not loud, which I can't say for some more expensive guitars.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
Well, here's my biggest complaint. The action out of the factory is EXTREMEMLY high (by my standards). As this was my first guitar though, I grew accustomed to the high action, and it makes playing a lower action guitar much much easier. However, beginners might become frustrated by the pain that high action can cause on your fingers, but hey, it'll be good for you in the end. I developed calouses within a week of playing, which is pretty valuable in and of itself. The bridge on my guitar may be *slightly* misaligned. After tuning correctly, the two high strings sound slightly sharp when fretted. This makes for some frustrating situations, but it's only noticably when picking them. Full chords usually drown them out. Overall, the action, fit, and finish are mediocre, but you will grow accustomed to it.

Reliability/Durability : 6
Well, I can't say that this guitar would withstand live playing. Unless you like tuning every five minutes, I wouldn't dare take this guitar onstage. The hardware will probably last well enough, but I foresee changing the tuners eventually, if just from frustration. The pick guard bears strong scratches just from normal playing, which can be an eyesore, but the rest of the finish looks like it will last because it's just plastic (with proper care of course). The guitar came with a bottom strap button only, so I've never used it will a strap, but the button looks strong enough. I think this guitar makes a great learner because of it's cheap price. I would never use it at a gig.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never used it.

Overall Rating : 10
I've had this guitar for about a year now, and it's exactly what I expected: A cheap, usefull, but low quality, learning guitar. It's served its purpose quite well, so for that I give it an overall rating of ten. But keep in mind, that ten is only because it's a great guitar for the learner. It requires little care to remain functional, the sound is not too bad, and it doesn't look as cheap as it is. Would I recommend it? Well, if your really on a budget, sure, but there are many many alternatives for not much more money. I suggest going to your local guitar store and trying out what's in your price range. But, if you're a beginner and just want to see if you want to really learn, go for it.

Brand new in 2001. I believe it was made in Korea or China of "white wood", whatever that is. No electronics, just your basic acoustic dreadnought with enclosed tuners, a single ply pick guard and equipped with Martin strings (lights I think)and a glossy black finish.

Sound : 9
Well, here's where the surprises start!

Keep in mind, throughout this review that we're talking about a brand new guitar delivered to my door for $79.00

My "style" is beginner. Been playing about 3 months. I bought this guitar primarily to leave setup in different tunings for messing with a slide. Looks like I'll have to buy another.

The sound on this guitar is amazingly full. Very warm and rich with good sustain. Haven't jammed with any friends with it yet but, I don't expect any problems being heard.
Lots of punch.

Again, $79.00 delivered!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
Out of the box, the action is a little high, good for slide work but, still very playable. I'll take it to my luthier and have it lowered a little more then all will be well. I'l leave the next one as is for my slide. Overall, I give the action a 7.

The details leave a little to be desired. The binding edges are a little uneven and I would have liked a little better 2 ply pickguard but again, we're talking a sub $100 guitar. The glossy black finish looks good except one spot on the side of the body has a "dull" looking spot. Overall, a 7 here too.

Reliability/Durability : 8
I see no reason why it wouldn't withstand a live gig. The hardware seems rugged enough to handle it. The day I received it, I took it to my luthier and had a second strap button installed for $5.00. So, now we're up to $84.00

Why in the world isn't that standard equipment? I'll never understand!

Customer Support : 8
Don't know. Hope I never have to find out.

My online dealer (Aztec Guitars on ebay) was very good to do business with. They responded to every one of my e-mails within 24 hours. As previously mentioned, I'm going to buy another one of these from them for slide work. It will be interesting to compare the quality consistency of the two guitars from the same manufacturer.
Hopefully, that's all the Customer Support I'll ever need!

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing 6 string for about three months. Been playing bass(acoustic and electric)for 35 years.

I currently own a Guild Pilot bass, a Fender BG-29 acoustic/electric bass, an Alvarez RD20C cutaway acoustic/electric and a Galveston Les Paul copy (see my review under Galveston LP-70)and now this one.

If it were lost or stolen, I'd buy another one, no question.

There are a number of things I love about this guitar. The price, the sound and, aside from the binding cosmetics previously described, the looks. The one item I'm least happy with is the pickguard. As mentioned, the side has one little dull spot in the finish but, all in all, it doesn't detract from the looks of this guitar. My favorite feature, the one I didn't really expect, is the rich, warm sound.

I didn't compare it to anything else because, when I set out to buy a second acoustic guitar, the main criteria was price and price alone. I have no problem spending a couple of bucks for a setup to make a guitar playable. I got exactly what I was looking for but, I wasn't expecting it to have the kind of sound it does.

Since the only disappointment was the pick guard, if anything, I may end up replacing it.

I know it sounds like a broken record but, for $79, I got a guitar that I can actually play right out of the box and looks and sounds great.

If you're on a limited budget and want a guitar or need a second one, like me, consider one of these. Just keep in mind, we're not talking Martin or Taylor quality but, I think your Martin and Taylor playing friends will be quite surprised when nthey hear it.

It is made of some kind of cheap woo called "whitewood" (I think). Black glossy finish. A decal rosette.standard acoustic bridge/pegs. Truss ROd. Pretty much basic.

Sound : 5
For the price of this guitar, the sound is amazingly bright! Considering the crappy materials and extra-low price, I liked my "campfire and abuse" guitar a lot more than I thought. I immediately stuck in a transducer pickup which I made and sold the guitar for $20 BUCKS profit-SCORE!! (the pickup only cost $5 to make). Compared to my other acoustic, a Martin DM, this guitar is a toy. Not compared to the Martin, its pretty decent and could almost pass for a REAL -cheap beginner guitar-.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
setup pretty decent well-not too much buzzin'
fretwork was messy though. action wasn't too bad-Hmmmmm?

Reliability/Durability : 9
its built like a brick shithouse. This beast has the thickest top I've ever seen on an acoustic (As a result its pretty quiet). ANyway it'll last.

I've been playin a few years and got, as I said, a Martin. I also have a fender cyclone and a fender stagemaster amp. I sold this guitar and used the money for a pickup for the Martin. It was OK though. the guys in the store couldn't find "Johnson" in their book o' guitar manufacturers so they couldn't price it correctly-I got $80.
For the price it gets a 7.

Made in China, don't now what kind of wood, Black finish, 20 frets, came without any accessaries.

As a novice player, I can't say what style of music I have because I'm still learning. I can say that I like the sound. Eventhough I'm not an advanced player, I can say the guitar sounds good even for an amature.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I feel like the guitar was well built. Haven't had any problems with the guitar. The finish is great-solid black.

Reliability/Durability : 6
I don't play in a band and don't play for an audiance but I would use it and would trust it. I don't understand why it came with only one strap button! Can't figure that out.

Haven't had to contact the company. Hope I never have to.

I've been playing for a couple of years and am a novice and this is the only guitar I own. It was a gift, so I didn't compare it to any other guitars; however, it I were to loose it, I'd buy another one just like it.

This guitar was made in China. It has a nice laminated black finish. I dont know what kind of wood it is, but its nice. I think its White and Nato wood. It included a Gig bag. I would like to have gotten a case picks and a caipo, but for the price, its pretty cool!

This guitar will be good for live playing. The hardware will last it looks like. The tuners are pretty solid. The finish is there to stay! My guitar only has 1 strap button... is this a problem????? It is a VERY dependable guitar in my oppinion.
