Bought this new on ebay for $65!!! It's a standard spruce-top Dreadnought with a decent electronics package. It sounds better than my $600 Takamine. I ended up selling my Tak and getting two more of these for my girlfriend and her brother. The three of ours are blueburst, black, and redburst. Absolutely gorgeous finsh.

Sound was unbelievable for a $65 dollar guitar. I do a mix of fingerpicking and flatpicking. I strum pretty heavily, but it sounds great no matter how hard or soft I strum. The pickup works great and sounds great through an amp or PA system.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
It was setup nicely with very low action. The tuners you can feel are cheap, but they hold. what do you expect for $65. The bindings are find and wood is great.

Reliability/Durability : 8
Had it for 3 months now, so far no problems. I play a few hours a day with it. left it in the car on accident in 80 degree temperature, came back, but no cracks in the wood.

never dealt with.

I've been playing for 7 years. I've owned 3 guitars, the most expensive being a $600 Takamine. But this one blows them all away so far. Of course, it doesn't compare to a Martin/Taylor but it's wonderful and can compete with any mid-level guitar.

Regular features just like ordinary Guitars. There's a Transducer Under the saddle.

Sound : 10
It Sounds GREAT!!! Never mind it cost me 129 bucks...i think more musicians should save their money and buy one of these instead of paying thousands for what they have.

Even better than the Rogue AE 100 i just sold. breaks my heart that i spent so much on it.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
The action needed a bit tweaking but it's ok i do good solos with it and it still keeps up and no buzzing. The fit is perfect. Man it's just snug in my arms...almost as good as my girlfriend...but thats another story. The finish isnt perfect but i LOVE the Blueburst Colour. I wouldnt sell this one for a long time to come.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Verrrrry Durable. It is pretty rugged. The Hardware i guess is a bit cheap...but who cares anyways? They could be replacedin a heartbeat. The Strap buttons are good (it only came with one but i installed one on the back). I DO use it in gigs with out backups. IT"S THE ONLY ONE I HAVE!!!

Customer Support : 10
The Company was very helpful. The even called my cell to make sure everything was ok.

There is no warranty cause i do not live in the US but who needs it...the thing cost a hundred and fifty bucks i could get another one with the snap of a finger.

I've been playing since 1998. I own an epiphone les paul special 2 and a Dot and soon to own another johnson js 800 electric guitar (Which, by the way, is even better than its fender counterparts at next to dirt price.

I'd buy this guitar in a heartbeat again if it were stolen (I'd cry Long tears first though).

I wish it had a peizo pickup but its still no big deal.

This is a basic guitar. The Johnson JG-620-N. I purchased this guitar brand new for $99 and it came with a Mandolin.

Sound : 10
I heard before I purchased this guitar that it was cheap and it buzzed a lot. I also heard good things so I decided to go with it. It really does sound excellent. Even when playing loud there is not buzzing.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I have also heard complaints about getting this guitar with a high setup. I have no problems playing mine. There were some minor flaws on the fretboard (21st and 22nd fret). I don't plan on using those frets so I don't care. Looks great though.

Reliability/Durability : 8
I doubt I would play with it live (definitely not on second thought). The hardware appears it will last. I would definitely use it as a backup or to bring with me to concerts in the parking lot.

Have not dealt with them yet. Purchased from Musician's Friend.

10. I am so glad I bought this instead of the other guitars out there for the same price. I love my johnson.

This is a Chinese made full-size acoustic guitar with a pickup. It is the basic 22 fret, Spruce Top with Nato fingerboard. The electronic include a Presence, Treble, Mid, Bass, and Volume levels.

Sound : 10
The guitar really shines in this catagory. The sound without pluging it in is very full, bright, and clear. When I pluged in the guitar for the first time, I was amazed at how great it sounded through a cheapo practice amp and then through a nicer studio amp. Simply put, this guitar sounds NICE.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
The guitar was pretty well set-up out of the box. The action was a little high, but it really was not bad. The major problem was with the finish. The finish looked like it was chipped on the bottom of the guitar. It is not really noticable unless you are right up to it.
I wish that the quality control for the guitar was a little better.

Reliability/Durability : 9
This guitar is built like a tank. I have already banged it around a few times and it got dropped once. There is no visiable signs of damage on the guitar from this abuse.
I have used it live (church setting) several times without a backup and am very nervous about that.
As mentioned in other reviews, there is only one strap button.

2 year manufactor warrently from a company called Music Link. Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 9
I have been playing for about two years now and this is my first electric/acoustic guitar. I was very happy with the price and quality of guitar that I was able to get. I highly recommend this guitar to someone who can overlook a few finish problems and does not want to pay $200-$500 for a practice acoustic guitar.
This is a entry-level guitar and people with more experience and a eye for detail may wish to look elsewhere, but the average player would be very happy with this instrument.
