I usually play acoustic rock and after giving it a major setup it is much better (Less buzzing etc.). This guitar sounds very bright on the higher pitches and very rich with the bass ones.

This guitar come as super high action guitar and needs alot of setup is required (I needed to lower the saddle and set the trust rod to it's maximum).

1 yr warrenty (Which is probably over by now). I needn't to deal with the company.
However I am very dissapointed that I bought a guitar and needed to give it some hardware adjustments by myself (like lower the saddle - I needed to took more then 1/32" off it!!!).

Since this Guitar is/was my first acoustic (my experience is less then one and a half yrs), I can say for sure that this guitar is not meant for beginners. Buy this guitar only if you know how handle an acoustic guitar. If you are a beginner - buy this one only if you want to learn how to setup an acoustic guitar - the hard way. (and thank god for www.frets.com). This is my "Crash test dummy" guitar and I'll use it to learn the fine arts of acoustic crafts (Like self installing an active EQ amp in it). In the overall - a very educational guitar.
If you know any good tricks for this guitar - please contact me.

This guitar has a spruce top and nato back and sides, off white body binding on the front and back sides and the neck,20 frets and a soft shouldered cutaway.Thin "solo style" depth and a piezo bridge pickup with volume/tone control.I purchased it new and it came with a strap,capo,10 gibson heavy pics,a cheapo 10 ft cable and an extra set of washburn slick light strings. They even threw in the cardboard box it came in as a case(yay)

I could not believe the sound of this thing fer how cheap it was!!I played some $2000 jumbo gibson that was near it and the johnson blew that over priced hunk of junk away!It is perfect for my style of playing. The sound is pretty much perfectly ballanced for both chord work and soloing, plugged or unplugged. It has a little hum when plugged in because it cant be grounded with your hand like an electric can.oh well I'm not a whiner about piddly poo.

This is whwere I have encountered the most problems. When I got this guitar new,the action was Insanely high, the little wiring harness thingamajigger inside of the guitar had come un glued,so the wires to the tone and volume control were just flappin in the wind, and like ten of the frets werent filed right and still had burrs on them.Thats all stuff that I imediately fixed my self and there are no more probs now bob.

The tuners are the only thing that feel like they might screw up.but other than that the thing is built supprisingly well fer a cheapo acoustic.

Ive been playing like a fiend for over ten years. My style is instrumental improv rock/funk/folk/blues.I own an Ibanez rg 470 electric,a rogue tele copy,a digitech rp 21 effect processor,a fender stage 160 and a sunn alpha 212r amp.I have owned a ovation balladeer wich didnt even sound as good as this here fiddle.Ive learned the hard way over the years that the name or the price of the guitar doesnt matter-its the quality of the sound. If this thing were stolen I would whine like a little girl until I found the hooker that took it and when I did I would ducktape him or her to a tree upside down and put honey and fire ants on parts unmentionable until they forked up the loot to buy me a new one.I would deffinitely buy this same model again. The only thing I plan on changing is the electronics and the tuning keys.I'm gonna upgrade to an active fishman pickup with a 4 band eq and a set of gold sperzel locking tuners.I might even change out the bridge pins and replace em' with those fancy abalone topped ones.I use this guitar as my only acoustic at gigs all the time and im gonna keep doing so till I have to go el kabong style on somebody(thats what happened to my ovation!)
