This is a 2003 Johnson JP-ES-SV Hollowbody with double cutaway. I bought it for less than 500 bucks in Germany including a gator case. It's got 22 medium sized frets (not big enough top call them jumbo...) The ES-SV has a solid slightly arched maple top with a brass bridge and a Bigsby B7 styled tremolo. The whole hardware is golden.
You find a three-way toggle switch for two Filtertron kind humbuckers with a volume and tone control for each pickup.
Body and set neck are made of maple, the body has a flamed transparent sea green finish. Bindings at the body, the neck and the f-holes are vintage white.

I play Rockabilly and Country and this guitar just rocks! With both connected pickups you have a very wide area of sound, unfortunately the bridge pickup alone cannot assert itself very much, there you gotta get it loud. But it works.
I play this guitar on a Fender Pro 185 generally in clean mode, which sounds quite good.

The factory finish was overall great, only the .009 strings were changed to .010s by myself.
The only thing I complain is the fitting of the pickups, they are a little bit longer than the neck width, so that the pole piece of the e 1st string is not exactly under the string.

I use this guitar as my main instrument at live gigs but due to the little tricky way to replace torn strings on the Bigsby I still need a backup guitar, which I always have on stage ;-)
By the sweat of my hands and pretty much cleaning the Johnson, the golden hardware (esp. pickups and bridge) wear off and show the silver subsoil. I don't really care...
