Late 70s Strat copy. Mahogany bodied, sunburst finish, maple neck with standard Strat electrics arrangement. 5 way switch. 70s Strat copy with large headstock, bullet truss.

Does the whole strat thing beautifully, but I fitted Kent Armstrong Pick ups which boosted the output. The mahogany body is heavier than Ash or Basswood models, but the sustain is awesome. (Mahogany is good enough for Gibson) Actualy, Fender did a few Strats in Mahogany, so maybe it was a copy of these. Usual strat hum, so stay away from fluorescent tubes and it's fine.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The finish considering it's 30 years old is very good, The maple neck is very slim, but the action is lower than on my Fender Strats and doesn't buzz at all. The sunburst is not as good as my vintage 62 reissue, but at this price what do you expect.
The original pickups had died with a little help from me trying to rewind one, but with the new Kent Armstrong 62s everything sings.

In short, it is pretty indestructible. Neck is solid and it will last for many years yet. I think the Japs sorted out build quality better than most years ago.

I've been playing 30 years plus, and have various Fenders, Gibsons and Tokai's etc. and this was a spare, that was so good, ended up one of my main guitars
If it were lost, I wouldn't lose sleep, but if another came my way, would buy it without hesitation
